I’m starting to become more receptive towards more closers making the HOF after watching the Orioles for years have closers who have one or two brilliant seasons before completely falling apart.
I was really hoping Big Mike or Coulombe would be able to continue their success and be the 7th inning bridge to Cano, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
When I think about it, i like putting Bautista in at that spot in the 8th with 2 outs. He's gotta face 3 batters or end an inning. If he has an off day, you got a better chance of getting one out than 3.
What’s the most worrying to me about Felix is that his fastball is constantly hitting 96 and 97 so that makes it much easier to lay off his splitter which also hasn’t been great and foul stuff off
