MLB is getting smarter. The only way I can watch is on my laptop. I’ve followed all the instruction on how to get a vpn to work on my fire stick with no luck.
Mlb getting serious. New app update requires GPS and ip address data. So no VPN solve there, either. I bought am iptv package for $11 a month that has MASN. Solved.
The AppleTV may be sharing its location with MLB and no VPN will overcome it. The device is like an iPhone and they can’t be used with a VPN to overcome blackout restrictions on MLB. You need a Mac or PC to make it work.
So you can set up the MLB app on the Apple TV to not use location. Then you can set up your VPN in Unifi (my router) and route your AppleTV traffic through it. It worked.
Edit: it worked until just recently.
Im using Unlocator right now on my PS5 and it’s working, but like you I have started having issues the last month. I’ve emailed them about it and they’re “checking into it” but it’ll work for 2 days then a few days give me a blackout etc. TBH I was amazed at how smoothly it had been working all season
I’ve been emailing with them. Today they literally told me “it’s not us, it’s you” because of transparent dns stuff with my ISP. So I upgraded to their VPN like they suggested like an idiot. $50 later and literally none of their VPN servers/regions work either. Yes, it’s me and not you.
Yeah I really don’t know the inner workings where it thinks the device with the DNS stuff but I don’t know how they could think it’s your fault if it was working then stopped. I sent them some screen shots and such but it kinda self resolved I guess unless they changed something, but I was thinking it was supposed to set to the UK as is
Maybe try connecting your phone or laptop to your TV while running a stream. I watch all the games on my Laptop because I live in AZ now so I just have to find a stream online. I’m usually atleast a pitch or 2 behind you guys so I have to be carful in the game threads but it gets the job done
I’ve been using nord all season and today it finally crapped out. I’ve also tried Surfshark today too and no deals there either so far. This is all in my laptop btw.

Unlocator has been working for me as of last night while watching in browser on laptop.
Express VPN was working for me until mid July. Now I can only watch on my laptop.
