I usually eat honey with a mouth, but if you're feeling adventurous

FullMetalEnzo

ffs, ok, this got a good belly laugh out of me.

ComeAlongPonds

Surely you can't be serious? 🍯🤣

miserablerolex

I am serious and don't call me Shirley

_DMH_23

Yes, also I’ve never had any issue with high fat foods or artificial sweeteners

ninjaprincess215

I’ve never had any issues with honey. I love it!

Practical-Aspect-211

I just had honey with my breakfast… so good! My ileostomy only hates corn, popcorn, and grapes. Stella also gets a bit cranky with nuts (sharp edges) and some fruits/veggies (I like Brussel sprouts more than she does). But honey has never been an issue!

Amishgirl281

I found out that my ileostomy not only hates corn but nearly every cornmeal product. Like corn tortillas. Or corn chips. I may not get a blockage but I get an unholy amount of gas for at least 2 or 3 days.

bafflingmetaphor

I've never had any problems with honey, either plain or as an ingredient.

Minus-Asshole

Honey is an anti-inflammatory food so it should be good for us in theory, and in moderation ofc!

gtrcar5

For a few years I had yogurt with honey and blueberries for breakfast and it never caused my ileostomy and issue. Give it a go and see how it works out. Start small and work from there.

neeno52

Try it. The only way to know is to have a taste and see if your sensitive to it

Impstoker

Sugar makes me gassy af. Articifical sugars are no problem for me. So as with any of these things everybody reacts differently. So try it out on a day where you can stay home. Start with a small amount. Good luck.

McNabFish

I have Greek yogurt, honey and blueberries every morning for breakfast and have done for years. Never had any issues (other than a slight green tinge to the output)

Expectingly_waiting

I have no issues eating anything. I doubt honey 🍯 would cause any issues. Might make it smell better 😂😂
