God I hope it becomes full cross platform eventually, cuz god damn that game looks so fun but I can’t play them with my buddies cuz they’re on PC and I’m on PS4, and last time I checked the crossplay was weird, has it changed since then ?
The crossplay functions between the different game editions. So if your have the Microsoft version on PC, you can crossplay with people on Xbox. The Steam version is the only one with no crossplay.
I played a little deep rock galactic with the friends but not much. We got a little turned off because it seemed really easy. We’re in college and play games casually but does it get more difficult as you progress?
Deep Rock gets really difficult and can take a lot of planning a resource management at high levels. Difficulty goes up to five and there is a world of difference in difficulty from level 3 to level 4 and from level 4 to level 5.
On top of that there are deep dives, which are even longer than normal missions and more difficult.
Give it a try. The difficulty is there.
There is nothing more satisfying then making it back to the drop pod with the boys, feeling like you’ve been through a war.
Rock and stone!
Its really easy to play at low difficulty and not realize that you can turn the difficulty up. that's what I did for quite some time thinking that there wasn't any more to it, but if you crank it up a little it gets really tense quick.
Started with civ 6, went full into the whole make 6h pass in 1h vibe. Stellaris, total war: warhammer 2, kenshi, rimworld... Literally "one more turn". I see the sun rise and set within the same minute. I see stars die and galaxies take shape in the blink of an eye.
Brawlhalla. Haven't really played much overwatch since overwatch 2 came out and I only really was waiting for the pve stuff anyways. Not burnt out but definitely not feeling it with overwatch lately
Play FFXIV and experince a game with little to no toxicity.
Its a great game with a free trial that includes the award winning expansion of heavensward!
Paladins is my new go to. Yea the not switching during matches can lead to pub stomps, but I enjoy it. Besides the skins are cheaper and you can sometimes unlock them like Classic Overwatch. They tend to have more champions but they differ in how they do the roles. Except you can compare the paladin heros to OW heros. Like Maeve is kind like Genjis, Skye is a sexier Sombra, Viktor is Soldier A, Tyra is Sojourn, etc.
Disney Speedstorm, usually I’m not a racing fan but this game is cute and the music makes me happy.
And as soon as the update comes I’ll play Disney Dreamlight Valley again (I have nothing left to do atm)
I was making a bit from the fact that op asked about games that ppl like to play INSTEAD of ow and his comment being a basic "overwatch 2 sucks" was irrelevant and unneeded. Everyone posting here obviously thinks this as they are posting games to play RATHER THAN ow.
Haven’t played anything but Overwatch in a long while. But I’m a fan of rocket league and Minecraft. I was getting a kick out of Sea of Thieves for a couple months but the toxic players were too much. Honestly the one the worst game communities I’ve played with. And that’s coming from a platinum Overwatch player lmao. I’m honestly just sticking it out with OW until Diablo 4 drops then I’m gonna be all about that for a good long while.
I went and beat raft. Rn I bought brown of Salem 2 and honestly it's a lot of fun. I play to go and beat grounded and I also have dead island 2 even tho I think the story in that game is lame. I even went and played some extension on cod ghost and it's a lot of fun. Oh how I wish for extinction 2 or some shit. In aspect of pvp I played cod. Then destiny 2 pvp. Then overwatch. I played apex and valorant. And honestly. I think I'm done with pvp games. I don't suck. I actually like to think I'm decent but Every pvp game now is all money and cash grabs with the same shit every match.
Just finished Castlevania Symphony of the Night on Mobile, I do play Genshin Impact, Star Rail in between when my friends and I aren't playing. CSGO sometimes, Death Stranding, Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Tales of Arise and Apex legends. mostly Animal Crossing and The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom on Switch.
I mostly play with my friends whenever they're online
After I uninstalled OW2 I hopped on GamePass and downloaded like 10 puzzlers / platformers / action games (The Gunk, Scorn, Tunic, bought XCOM 2 for PC, etc).
CSGO, I'm recently playing Diablo 2 just to relax, I do some RB6 to make myself suffer, went back to OSU, and im trying to play all the side missions of all yakuza games since I finished the stories.
Twisted metal 2
Command and conquer red alert 2 yuri's revenge
Neverwinter nights enhanced edition .
Counter Strike 1.6
Counter Strike GO
Heroes of the storm
League of legends
Currently playing Elden ring, it's pretty good till I start to get lost, also Invader system needs some work cuz I'll be having fun with friends just for someone to invade us for 20+mins. So I'm sticking with single player.
Deep Rock, Elder Scrolls Online and thinking of getting back into Valorant.
It is such a shame though. For most ranks, OW2 is pretty balanced, but the matchmaking is awful. I think I could push through that though if it weren’t for the PvE disappointment.
How the whole game has been managed has been frustrating. If they focused on the PvP and didn’t spend so much time hyping up PvE only to completely fail to deliver I probably would still be playing, but unsatisfying ranked games plus seeing how poorly development has been managed, I’m looking for a new home.
I go back to Warframe whenever I get burned out with any game. Burn out can be a real bitch and Warframe is a game I can always come back to since it’s pretty casual game to chill to
My friend and I have been playing Grounded, its up to 4 players and honestly has so much to offer when you take your time and explore, however, a little pricey so maybe wait for a sale
Usually I play a game a lot during a few weeks, and then I get burnt out, and won't play it again until like 2 years.
But Overwatch 2 is one of those very rare games that I keep playing almost daily since it got released (OW2, I never played OW1).
OW2 is the game I play when I burnt out of other games :)
These days I'm also playing Solasta, Mechabellum, and ZERO Sievert.
Previously I was on Stellaris, and Minecraft AllTheMods 8 (huge comprehensive modpack with both industrial tech and RPG/magic).
There's a game called Combat Master, it's free on steam and it's a lot like electric boogaloo. A lot of fun has quick 15-minute games so although it's competitive it's not convoluted or sweaty
1. Fistful of Frags
2. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger
3. RDR2
Tbh I play RDR2 more than Overwatch2, but it's lower on my burn-out list bc it satisfies a completely different mood.
Apex. Has legends with abilities. Create team comp synergy. Play together and win fights. Similar in many ways to OW. All my homies used to play OW but transitioned I've ether last year as OW was clearly not it anymore.
I am currently playing FFXIV, MapleStory, Fire Emblem Engage and OSRS. Once I beat my current Fire Emblem Engage, I plan on going back to 3 Houses and finally finishing my maddening run I started forever ago.
FFXIV, GTA V, COD MW2, Mario Kart 8, Assetto Corsa, single player games (other Final Fantasy games, Katamari games, Skyrim, The Sims, Cities Skylines, etc.)
Single players mostly, currently making my way through Tears of the Kingdom and Red Dead Redemption 2.
I’ve been feeling another RDR2 playthrough coming up…
Its been really fun so far, im currently running around in Rhodes.
"You'll never experience RDR2 for the first time again" always makes me feel :(
I have FAITH that you would enjoy another RDR2 playthrough
Fallout 3 and NV for me. I just spend all day updating the mods, and then it's time to go to bed.
I'm still being stubborn because it came out on console first instead of pc and I have yet to buy it but want to try that series out.
“Just one more train Arthur”
I literally started a new one yesterday and then read this comment today lmao
Right there with you with rdr2, just left Rhodes yesterday. Really taking my time, trying to 100% it before going back to ow
Pull up Deep Rock Galactic with the squad, it's probably the most amount of PvE fun I've had with friends since old CoD Zombies
ROCK AND STONE
Rock and roll and stone!
"Rock an- A BULK DETONATOR, GET BACK GET BACKKK!!"
Did i just hear a Rock and Stone?
Name checks out
it’s a bot if you didn’t know
DID I HEAR A ROCK AND STONE?
God I hope it becomes full cross platform eventually, cuz god damn that game looks so fun but I can’t play them with my buddies cuz they’re on PC and I’m on PS4, and last time I checked the crossplay was weird, has it changed since then ?
No and when a dev was asked about it on stream he didn’t seem to concerned about it:( sorry my man
The crossplay functions between the different game editions. So if your have the Microsoft version on PC, you can crossplay with people on Xbox. The Steam version is the only one with no crossplay.
Bruh this comment about old cod zombies hit home. I must try it now.
ROCK AND STONE EVERYONE!
Did I hear a Rock and Stone?
I played a little deep rock galactic with the friends but not much. We got a little turned off because it seemed really easy. We’re in college and play games casually but does it get more difficult as you progress?
Deep Rock gets really difficult and can take a lot of planning a resource management at high levels. There is nothing more satisfying then making it back to the drop pod with the boys, feeling like you’ve been through a war. Rock and stone!
That's it lads! Rock and Stone!
I just started playing and it is easy at first but my God do the missions get insane as you dive deeper into the chaos. It's a blast!
Its really easy to play at low difficulty and not realize that you can turn the difficulty up. that's what I did for quite some time thinking that there wasn't any more to it, but if you crank it up a little it gets really tense quick.
Crank the difficulty up to Haz 4, see if you still think it's easy. Lol.
Plants vs zombies garden warfare 2
I’m so happy this game is still alive
It’s not, but you will find a lobby
Yea that game even more dead than overwatch 1 near the end😂
Wow totally forgot about that game. Really fun with friends
Im currently playing the Metro trilogy, Its really good imo.
Yes! That series is really goo, just an absolute bitch to get the “good karma” endings
Love the games but yeah those endings are not it
splatoon 3
Rn me and my friend are playing modded terraria
FFXIV
I play apex so that I can feel a whole different kind of pain
Allow me to summarize it *ahem* “Where’s the audio! AiM AsSisT oP! 120 hertz for next gen when?”
I feel this
It’s a game of “what makes me feel the worst” between ow and apex.
No literally. The ol im doing ass at overwatch lemme hop on apex to then do ass on apex 🧍♀️
I just installed it to try out. That's how desperate I am to get away from bliZZard
Oh you poor summer child. Welcome to apex
Civ 6
Started with civ 6, went full into the whole make 6h pass in 1h vibe. Stellaris, total war: warhammer 2, kenshi, rimworld... Literally "one more turn". I see the sun rise and set within the same minute. I see stars die and galaxies take shape in the blink of an eye.
Been playing midnight suns, which is really good if you’re a marvel fan!
The binding of isaac
You, sir really hate your life. Life ruining, rage and seizure inducing game. 11/10 Best roguelike ever.
Almost have dead god 😈 it’s been painful
I've heard Deep Rock Galactic can scratch a bit of the itch but it's pure pve. Good game though.
Ayy same answer, rock and stone brother!
Can I get a Rock and Stone?
Rock and Stone!
Brawlhalla. Haven't really played much overwatch since overwatch 2 came out and I only really was waiting for the pve stuff anyways. Not burnt out but definitely not feeling it with overwatch lately
I like to touch grass sometimes
What a caveman
RuneScape.
I foot peddled the fuck out of thieving and grinded to diamond rank zen at the same time lmao
Finally, my kind. I started a group ironman with some of the people I played OW with, it's been a blast.
Been playing overwatch 2 and sea of thieves. My friend group bounces between the two to keep it fun.
sins 4 😍
Sins 4 the pegi 18 version of sims 4?
Stardew Valley, Tears of the Kingdom, Outlast Trials, Valheim
Fortnite, NFS Heat, Minecraft, and FH5
Play FFXIV and experince a game with little to no toxicity. Its a great game with a free trial that includes the award winning expansion of heavensward!
DBD
Borderlands 3
I've been playing a looot of Darkest Dungeon
I’ve been playing Brawl Stars. I think OW could learn a thing or two from their F2P model. Great game, loads of fun.
Didn't think I'd see a fellow Brawl Stars enjoyer in the comments but I am pleased I have. Good luck on your grinds friend
Botw (cause I'm poor and can't buy totk) but I still play ow daily. Idk I just enjoy ow2 gameplay loop
Psst hey kid, come over here for a second... Ever heard of... ^emulation?
I have now 👀
Paladins is my new go to.
Destiny 2
GUNDAM EVOLUTION.
This game is actually underrated
I've been playing a lot of Warframe lately. Also some singleplayer games like FF7 the remake on hard mode and Hollow knight

I make mods for Minecraft
Guardian Tales it’s like living in the early 90’s rpg era but online.
Rainbow Six Siege if you hate yourself, great game, rage inducing
I play only two games at a time. Overwatch and Skyrim, it helps to be overpowered at one and ass at the other
I picked up Omega strikers. Really fun 3v3 Moba Airhockey
FO4 is always a classic
Garden Paws

Timberborn! <3
Disney Speedstorm, usually I’m not a racing fan but this game is cute and the music makes me happy. And as soon as the update comes I’ll play Disney Dreamlight Valley again (I have nothing left to do atm)
Always a single player game, it’s not overwatch that burns me out it’s the other people you play with that do
Osu Mania
I started Valorant recently and I actually enjoy it more lol
The game itself is a burnout. 1 game and I’m over it.
I'm not sure what game that is. Unless you mean burnout paradise in which I do say it's a good game.
I think they meant that overwatch 2 in itself is a burnout like you can play one match and be immediately burned out again
I was making a bit from the fact that op asked about games that ppl like to play INSTEAD of ow and his comment being a basic "overwatch 2 sucks" was irrelevant and unneeded. Everyone posting here obviously thinks this as they are posting games to play RATHER THAN ow.
Hogwarts Legacy
Totk, forza horizon 5, and sf6
Valorant and Stardew valley
valorant so i can continue to feel the feeling of wanting to die every time i load into a game with unfair unranked match making
sometimes I log on to World Of Warships Legends or play fall guys (only if my friends want to do so as well) or just have fun in RDR2 or Fallen order
Wish I could say overwatch 1 but.....you know

Haven’t played anything but Overwatch in a long while. But I’m a fan of rocket league and Minecraft. Valheim!!
I've been enjoying satisfactory
Minecraft mostly. Used to play GW2 too.
Im almost 100% plat on AC Origins. Running around Ptolemaic Egypt is relaxing after some stress rounds in OW.
Smite
Prey (2017)(favorite game of all time), Red Dead Redemption 2 and the new Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom at the moment
Forknife
After I uninstalled OW2 I hopped on GamePass and downloaded like 10 puzzlers / platformers / action games (The Gunk, Scorn, Tunic, bought XCOM 2 for PC, etc).
CSGO, I'm recently playing Diablo 2 just to relax, I do some RB6 to make myself suffer, went back to OSU, and im trying to play all the side missions of all yakuza games since I finished the stories.

Quick Play
Phasmophobia, 7 days to die and Borderlands with friends teammate from Overwatch. Same team ! New adventures ! ;)
OSRS, Minecraft, persona, Xenoblade, monster hunter. Pretty much anything depressurizing
Currently playing Elden ring, it's pretty good till I start to get lost, also Invader system needs some work cuz I'll be having fun with friends just for someone to invade us for 20+mins. So I'm sticking with single player.
I'm actually leaving ow for good to play street fighter 6 instead when it releases. But before i would usually play No Man Sky or Slay the Spire.
Atomic heart and Jedi Survivor are currently my go too games
Deep Rock, Elder Scrolls Online and thinking of getting back into Valorant. It is such a shame though. For most ranks, OW2 is pretty balanced, but the matchmaking is awful. Escape from Tarkov. Hate to love this game
I go back to Warframe whenever I get burned out with any game. Burn out can be a real bitch and Warframe is a game I can always come back to since it’s pretty casual game to chill to
Been playing Tears of the Kingdom and Honkai Star Rail. Star Rail especially gives me reasons to grind that itch the same need to grind Comp.
Borderlands 3/ Sonic Frontiers/COD Zombies/Cyberpunk 2077
These days mostly FFXIV and some Valorant here and there.
Fallout
Pokémon unite
Not close to the same type of game, but Inkbound is a multiplayer turn-based roguelike that just came out (early access) that is really fun.
My friend and I have been playing Grounded, its up to 4 players and honestly has so much to offer when you take your time and explore, however, a little pricey so maybe wait for a sale
Stranded deep, Lego Star Wars and Skate 3 😎
Usually I play a game a lot during a few weeks, and then I get burnt out, and won't play it again until like 2 years. But Overwatch 2 is one of those very rare games that I keep playing almost daily since it got released (OW2, I never played OW1). Warlander is pretty damn fun - on Xbox X/S
Red Dead Redemption and Cyberpunk, kept me sane after bs rank matchmaking
Medieval Dynasty, Sims 4, Civ 6 and short and sweet puzzle/story games like the TellTale games. Apex if I want to be competitive.
Destiny 2
Sadly, War thunder
Rock band 4 is a comfort game for me, I can always play my favorite songs whenever I get burnt out of something.
There's a game called Combat Master, it's free on steam and it's a lot like electric boogaloo. A lot of fun has quick 15-minute games so although it's competitive it's not convoluted or sweaty
1. Fistful of Frags 2. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger 3. RDR2 Tbh I play RDR2 more than Overwatch2, but it's lower on my burn-out list bc it satisfies a completely different mood.
I like to play the tales of series
League of Legends, specifically ARAM is my every night game. OW kinda is my burnout game. All of my friends quit and I’m the only one still playing.
Path of titans because walking around as a dinosaur is kinda neat
Apex. Has legends with abilities. Create team comp synergy. Play together and win fights. Similar in many ways to OW. All my homies used to play OW but transitioned I've ether last year as OW was clearly not it anymore.
Valorant, sometimes pubg. Basically the only games i play
Warframe
Cult of the Lamb!
fallout 4, minecraft, and any free game thats on steam or epic that looks interesting
Jedi survivor, and no man’s sky
trying to play Smite on PS5, but linking my accounts (i have it on PC too) isn't working to where i don't have to repeat the purchases
I am currently playing FFXIV, MapleStory, Fire Emblem Engage and OSRS. Once I beat my current Fire Emblem Engage, I plan on going back to 3 Houses and finally finishing my maddening run I started forever ago.
