I'm also having this issue with a 3-4 year old Samsung phone. I have found a very annoying work around of closing the app to force a save\*, which works, but resets the yomi auto-tournament
\*I mean pre-empting the issue - if I close the app after a crash I lose progress.
I have been having this issue as well. Started very recently. OPO 7 Pro.
If you minimize the app, it saves progress. And after a crash if you do something slightly different, that typically (but not always) fixes it.
