Random fairly unrelated tangent, but I remember this irked me in Bug Fables where I had to switch to an Xbox controller for a moment in chapter 3 since the minus button was needed for one random puzzle despite only being used for field tattles before that point

After clearing the pit once, you can start from level 50 for 300 coins. Go to the bottom after Bonetail has been defeated and you can fight the Whacka. That is where the Whacka will stay permanently.
Sometime other partners can speak with the partners hint if they are somewhat relevant to the situation.
Another exemple I know is during chap 6, when you have to fend off the black smog covering the bridge lever. If you have kooper, flurry or bobbery out, if you use the partners hint, instead of gombella telling you to use your hammer, it will be your currently out partners telling you they can help with it.
Whacka in the original game... It's implied you Knocked its brain out into extinction... Obviously now I don't know if the implications is that these underground Whack a Mole survive. Since Here was the place where you whack it into oblivion 20 years ago.
