I mean there's plenty of games just published by paradox that are talked about on here, so I don't think ship simulator extremes is going to.... Rock the boat

I dreamt the day [this masterpiece](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGnNbKfpx9k) gets discussed on here regularly
The sidebar (at least on old reddit) does say:
> This is a sub-reddit for discussion, links, etc. about any game published by Paradox Interactive or their partners.
So you're good.
Where did I say that is not okay to talk about the game?
I just wanted to provide additional information and giverecognition to the people who developed the game.
Huh?

R5: This game is from 2010 and was made by paradox so therefore I ask if it is okay to discuss this.
Edit: This game, was in fact, not made by paradox. It was just published by paradox
If you want a simulator that lets you drive around mid-large diesel ships without combat this is basically the only option. It isn't very realistic, the physics good for its age (but not very realistic by modern sim standards). It's very barebones. You basically just drive the ship from one place to another, not really any route planning/navigation, no dealing with cargo, not managing more complex systems of the ship like ballast. I have not played it in at least 10 years though, and apparently it is hard to get it working on modern PCs.
I got it a long time ago, didn't even know it was published by PDX. Honestly, it's meh. I love sims, but Ship Sim is lacking in... everything, really. Which sucks, because a realistic shipping sim would be the only thing I'm missing in my library.
I was going to mention it's trailer being a masterpiece, but it turns out I've mixed it up with Leviathan Warship

Quite the gem, thanks for the laugh
Gottamit take my upvote
Please sea yourself out now
I’ll allow it
You are a generous god.
Does bird mana affect literal birds in this one?
Good lord I don't know if I can handle yet another Ship Simulator Extremes thread, drowning in them, mods please
What do you mean? I haven’t seen any other threads, can you link it and if it’s related I’ll probably take this down myself.
He's joking 😂😂
Damn, I thought it was strange haha
haha, only a joke, but you're a good person to be that considerate.
Always saw this game on the shelves at Wal-Mart. Had no idea it was a Paradox game.
The game was not made by PDX, they only published it. The game was developed by VSTEP Simulation.
Ah ok didn’t know that, just found this game in the wild in a second hand shop.

I just wanted to provide additional information, you are good.
Yea, it’s good to shine light on all the indie studios behind games!
VSTEP also made NAUTIS which is like a training simulator.
That's what this sub is for.

Did you have to pass an exam to join the fun police or is it a standard job interview kind of thing?

Bwoop bwoop that's the sound of the(fun) police
It's no [Leviathan: Warships](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vxxnq5YAVHw), which is the best boat game ever published by Paradox.

It's Paradox published, so yes, absolutely. Never heard of it though.
Is it any good?

Haven’t tested it but the idea of paradox making a ship simulator is so funny that I bought it.

When I was young I was obsessed with this game lol, thanks for bringing back the memories
Holy shit that game was published from paradox? lmao
Today we're reaching new abys-mal lows, look how deep we have sunk.
Played this game before. Its performance was abysmal, even when I tried it again on modern 2023 hardware.
Is this inspired by the Warno subreddit?
Whatever floats your boat.

I used to love that game! I wonder how paradox came to get their hands on it
This was the third game I ever bought on steam and I’ve barely played it lmao
No, it's illegal. The cyberpolice are now backtracing you, and consequences will never be the same.
