Can not recommend ghost of tsushima. Especially not after elden ring. Its a huge and soulless map with nothing exciting to explore. Story and cutscenes are basic and boring. Combat is piss easy. Builds/equipment non existant. Its super pretty though, so i guess thats where the hype stemmed from. Or just weebs doing weeb things idk.
Tried D4 as everyone was banging on about it (had a $1 for two weeks Microsoft game pass offer so thought why not) and just don’t get the hype. Played through the campaign and tried a couple of classes but it’s so linear and shallow. So went back to d2 for a while.
Then saw steam were offering x-com for 95% off, bought that and loving it.
Ik hopping between d4 and Poe
Wanna make a spark character on Poe, but I'm like 500d short. Haven't decided if I wanna grind that out in this economy or not yet
You can go budget with Volkuur’s gloves until you have the money for the ring.
It’s like 1/3 the dmg but it can dot cap easily enough on non-uber fights and allows you to farm for the ring while playing the build.
Just finished yakuza like a dragon. Its pretty fun. Now back to finishing a couple elden ring dudes or starting armored core 6.
Also blasting v rising.
Sorry to disappoint but that's just a wish. There's no basis for 2024 whatsoever. _Something_ is in development per Firaxis last year and that's all we know.
Risk of Rain 2, Helldivers 2, Tiny Tina's Wonderland, Dota 2, Elden Ring... And Heroes of might and magic 3, Warcraft frozen throne and Red Alert Yuri's Revenge
No Rest for the Wicked's early access is pretty fun. It's *very* raw right now and only the first act is playable right now, most of the systems aren't introduced yet and the ones that are haven't been fully fleshed out, but it has a ton of potential.
Old School RuneScape, Yugioh Master Duel, and a fresh Skyrim playthrough. Two days ago I even started a new Pokémon Leaf Green run.
I didn't play this league - not because I didn't like it, I just felt burned out on PoE. I have my hopes up for next league
I recently purchased Dragons Dogma 2. I have less than 10 hours in the game, and am enjoying it so far. Game looks really good and i enjoy the combat. Im still low level so im being careful during battles, enemies hit hard. You do have your 3 NPC followers that help out too.
I’m terrible at playing new games, getting worse as I get older. I rotate between arpgs (Poe, last epoch, grim dawn, titan quest), fallout 3, NV, and 4, and Skyrim. Occasionally I’ll play a rogue like too, they all feel the same though.
I used to play a lot of mmos but they feel like time wasters anymore.
Same for me. ACC mostly. I got tired of iracing's monthly fee. Still play the original AC occasionally. Currently getting hype for AC 2 and Elden Ring DLC.
Tried D4 again since I heard they had fixed a bunch of stuff and the new season was good.
Game still feels pretty dull, dungeons are a slog, and the skill tree + crafting system are very uninteresting.
Got to level 45 and quit, rolled another toon on POE
It’s good. The Pit is fun, Helltides feel great. It’s basically in the state it should’ve been on release — now they need to innovate content.
Bossing is fun too. It’s a very good update finally.
This is how I felt. I believe the items and crafting mechanics are a great addition (Stolen idea from LE) . But the game is just boring right now. Nothing new to do, just better helltides.
That is kind of true, but D4 by lvl25, you have all your skills. And it its not fun by then the rest is just passives and gear upgrades.
I guess Paragon boards shake it up a bit later, but your skill use loop is pretty much sorted early game.
Im actually in ac5 on PoE when I took a break. Shit went down IRL. Only reslly gave D4 a shot too this weekend and lvl42 atm. Kind of enjoying it, but also need to continue in PoE. Just thought its funny as Im at the same place in both. 😅
That's the thing though, in POE I've done the acts a million times but I keep coming back to it because levelling and working through the skill tree is exciting.
D4s skill tree is just boring with nothing much to think about. Game lost my attention early.
Have you ever played Stalker Gamma? Can get it for free on the discord, takes some instructions, but pretty worthwhile game if you like shooters/fallout
I go back to 7 Days to Die with the Darkness Falls mod at least once a year. Playing for a month or two is enough to experience the latest changes and get a good world going, then start to burn out in time for the new league.
I just got done with Poe after getting my Mageblood and doing a T17 map realising T17 maps still suck and don't enjoy doing them. I also hate the whole haunted modifiers business and Back to Basics shananigans as min maxing my defenses was a total waste.
I went back to D4. They made it way less annoing now. Map is more zoomed out, no longer have inventory problems because aspects go into codex and have infinite usses, crit and vulnerable no longer feel mandatory, everything is great.
Still doesn't have a true endgame but will keep me for a while, if not maybe i will try No Rest for the Wicked.
Usually I’m trying not to burnout before the next league, so I play smth completely different. This time it was platinum-ing Lies of P, some Hades, some Vermintide 2 with friends, remnant 2 dlc and such stuff. As a side note - remnant is quite interesting in terms of character building, traits/subclasses/items are quite interesting and have a bit more situational usability and depth than I expected from soulslike/shooter. Vermintide 2 weave pushing is my usual go-to while I’m in the next league waiting room.
People seem to really like LE but I got bored after 50h when I tried it at the end of the affliction. D4bad)
Ruthless, as a softcore trade enjoyer I always thought Ruthless wasn't for me.
But just tried it, and it's honestly sooo addicting, takes a lot of time tho.
But just piecing stuff together as you go is a lot of fun
Deep Rock Galactic Survivor, finishing up Cyberpunk, writing scripts to automate parts of my job, walking in aimless circles around the house, normal late league stuff, you know.
Hopped to Last Epoch, had a blast. TBH PoE has become my side game compared to LE.
Once I felt good with LE some Valheim, and now picked up Hero Siege.
d4 is fking amazing right now. Like SO much fun. Having like 5x more fun with the new systems than necropolis. Will be back next league after they fix stuff, but this league was just absolutely in no way in hell for me. Quit 5 days in.
Im basically done, I just hop on to craft a bit, help out ppl in the guild. But for now I’m just playing apex or wuthering waves, maybe league if I feel like it’s a good day to hate my life
I play Clash Royale and Vampire Survivor-likes on my phone, it's nice to be able to lie in bed and just zone out. Gives some rest to my aching carpals after a long hard league of grinding on PF.
Dabbled in d4, new item changes and forever helltide are great. But since I never did all the renown stuff before, trying to slog through it all now to have it done forever is sucking the fun out of the game.
Gotta finish Elden Ring finally, maybe do a 2nd run. (easily top 3 game of all time for me)
Maybe I'll buy Lies of P, reviews seem sick kinda on the fence but it's on steam discount right now.
Still got red dead redemption 2 never touched it.
D4 is in a decent state right now got me a week of fun, same with Torchlight Infinite pre season will be another 1-2 weeks.
In and out of tons of different games as I can't find one that I'm enjoying.
Trying to do another play through of Elden Ring but I forgot how monotonous the first 30 or so levels are to grind. Still fun tho
Valheim, it’s always Valheim. But only because a large server I play on started a new world last week. Ghosts of Tsushima and my beta access to Once Human are whimpering in the corner for attention.
Probably not quite what you mean but for me it’s been the Borderland franchise for years. That said, I just got done watching Fallout so when I finished this league of PoE I started a new Fallout 4 play through.
I don't really go back and forth between two games, I jump to whatever I'm interested in. Currently playing ff7r2 and planning to do some coop stuff with my kid (elden ring, armored core, gears of war). About to pick up farm together 2 (I loved 1) and exocars vr.
That list will last me through the next 2 months as I don't have much time to game this quarter. Work is keeping me busy.
Valheim rn bc ashlands just dropped. I also play warframe as I love the combat feel and killing shit in that game gives a similar dopamine hit as poe. Also play a lot of pubg as my main battle royle type shooter
Cs2 or scum never both(currently neither). Then for single player game i guess honkai star rail, but thats 15 min a day and then + 2 days of playing every 40 days.
There is also rimworld, trackmania, gta sa multiplayer(which is still effectively trackmania but different) and teamfight tactics.
Recently wuthering waves, came out 3ish days ago. Pretty much my go to rn.
So many games and yet i look at my desktop and just go read shitty chinese cultivation novels instead. Literal brainrot lol. Halp.
I'm playing Warframe and Deep Rock Galactic as my "forever games" in the background, plus slowly going through my backlog of regular games: Dredge, Lies of P, Dave the Diver, Elden Ring, etc..
taking a big day break from going hard at games and doing Spelunky runs in my downtime. I never play POE hardcore for a long period of time because it's ultimately not great for my mental to be playing the amount that I want to play that game and inevitably do every time I do a proper league start.
Age of empires 2
A man of culture I see. Respect
Wololoooo
I was ranked number one in the world on cases ladder for age of empires rise of Rome expansion for death match. Only 1 week but was an amazing time.
Hades 2 and slay the spire
Check out Rabbit and Steel
Exact same thing, plus CS2
Grim dawn.
Heh. I just downloaded it again today too. Second best game in the genre.
Grim Dawn Season 6 Mod
Ridiculously modded minecraft
GREG
Gregtech New Horizons is always calling
Where my fellow greggers at?
Currently playing trackmania, although I suck at it, I got hypped by the deep dip 2 event.
hey, me too. Tried the easier version of the Deep Dip 2 map (Shallow dip) and still didnt manage to finish it, but we'll get there.
Trackmania is so fun once you get into the mechanics. Ice & tech main here
Elden ring. Once I’m done with it I’ll likely play either d4, resident evil 4, ir ghost of Tsushima
Same, getting ready for the DLC next month
Can not recommend ghost of tsushima. Especially not after elden ring. Its a huge and soulless map with nothing exciting to explore. Story and cutscenes are basic and boring. Combat is piss easy. Builds/equipment non existant. Its super pretty though, so i guess thats where the hype stemmed from. Or just weebs doing weeb things idk.
Re4 remake is superb. Original was awesome so I had high expectations, but it still surprised me how well they made the remake.
Yo me too? Made a fresh character to get ready for the DLC in a month.
Is d2 better? Honest question
There just very different games. They both are in the play for 2 weeks and wait til new season.
It is ping pong between destiny 2 and POE
For me it’s Warframe, but similarly mostly a two-game Andy.
R u excited to enter the traveller?
I’ve been bricked up for that Trussy for a year now.
V Rising. Civ 6. Valheim.
V Rising is a gem!
I jump between Dota, PoE and Ades
How you liking the new dota patch? I'm seriously considering returning from my 1 year break.
It's amazing
Btd6, I watch YouTube or stream shows and am working on black bordering every intermediate map at the moment
This is why I love blight, just makes me feel like I’m playing bloons
Poe and btd6 are 3 of my most played games and one of the last things i expected someone to say under this post, incredible though.
What’s the 3rd game?
Hey fellow btd6 enjoyer! I'm trying to do chimps on expert maps, but they make me cry.
Love that game!
Ik hopping between d4 and Poe Wanna make a spark character on Poe, but I'm like 500d short. Haven't decided if I wanna grind that out in this economy or not yet
You can go budget with Volkuur’s gloves until you have the money for the ring. It’s like 1/3 the dmg but it can dot cap easily enough on non-uber fights and allows you to farm for the ring while playing the build.
Currently playing Balatro!
I love that game so much!! Exquisite taste my friend.
Just finished yakuza like a dragon. Its pretty fun. Now back to finishing a couple elden ring dudes or starting armored core 6. Also blasting v rising.
Civ. It always comes back to civ.
5 or 6?
6 at the moment. There's supposed to be a new one later this year.
Ohhhhh I’m hyped!! Been a civ 5 Andy for years now. Never really got into 6. Keen for a fresh game Though so a new civ will be perfect.
Sorry to disappoint but that's just a wish. There's no basis for 2024 whatsoever. _Something_ is in development per Firaxis last year and that's all we know.
Also big civ 6 player. It’s would be my favorite game ever made if the multiplayer support wasn’t so terrible
Risk of Rain 2, Helldivers 2, Tiny Tina's Wonderland, Dota 2, Elden Ring... And Heroes of might and magic 3, Warcraft frozen throne and Red Alert Yuri's Revenge
Is that all? You need another 2 or 3 games to consider yourself grassless
Hades 2 Early Access has been awesome!
No Rest for the Wicked's early access is pretty fun. It's *very* raw right now and only the first act is playable right now, most of the systems aren't introduced yet and the ones that are haven't been fully fleshed out, but it has a ton of potential.
I'm waiting for 1.0 on that one but the combat definitely has me intrigued
umfortunately they are not done cooking that game.. back to the oven!
a lot of torchlight infinite and a little bit of d4
Dota 2
Old School RuneScape, Yugioh Master Duel, and a fresh Skyrim playthrough. Two days ago I even started a new Pokémon Leaf Green run. I didn't play this league - not because I didn't like it, I just felt burned out on PoE. I have my hopes up for next league
D2R ladder just reset but it's already dead due to billions of bots lol
Poor mr llama
I recently purchased Dragons Dogma 2. I have less than 10 hours in the game, and am enjoying it so far. Game looks really good and i enjoy the combat. Im still low level so im being careful during battles, enemies hit hard. You do have your 3 NPC followers that help out too.

Occasionally I’ll play a rogue like too, they all feel the same though. I used to play a lot of mmos but they feel like time wasters anymore.
Try V Rising! I am in the same boat (>40y and most games dont give me this itch anymore). But this game is a blast for me!
Mutagenic — 2d poe with survivors mechanics. Note: I made this https://store.steampowered.com/app/2082560/Mutagenic/
I like sim racing. I played a bit of the new d4 season.
Same for me. ACC mostly. I got tired of iracing's monthly fee. Still play the original AC occasionally. Currently getting hype for AC 2 and Elden Ring DLC.
I program my own games in unity. Coding productivity goes up as the season goes on, then drops off a cliff at the launch of a new season.
Nice, i do it in godot, just started tho and too distracted by poe at the moment cuz im still noob:p
Got to 60 in new d4 season. Played factorio again for a while. Fortnite with the kids. Bought captain of industry today so checking that out.
Shattered Pixel Dungeon, one of my favorite roguelikes
That game looks cool. Thanks for the recommendation!
Omg this game... I like it, but how the hell you survive levels after beating dwarf king? I get shredded every time 😓
Modded minecraft. Checking out all the mods 9 at the moment. Been playing for two weeks and not even close to done.
Tried D4 again since I heard they had fixed a bunch of stuff and the new season was good. Game still feels pretty dull, dungeons are a slog, and the skill tree + crafting system are very uninteresting. Got to level 45 and quit, rolled another toon on POE

Bro said Toon and my brain said *Toontown* 😭
Tbh level 45 in d4 is equivalent to act 5 in poe campaign. You haven't even scratched the surface of the endgame
I'm so glad they did the open beta weekends because I hated those skill trees so much I never even bought the game. Saved me $70 or whatever it was
Tarkov single player (modded one). Albion EU server (released 2-4weeks ago?). Calamity patch soon. The Wuthering waves. Manor Lords.
Have you ever played Stalker Gamma? Can get it for free on the discord, takes some instructions, but pretty worthwhile game if you like shooters/fallout
Ghost of Tsushima and Dota 2
Helldivers 2, teamfight tactics, deep rock galaxy: survivor
The Box Box Dungeons but thats on Break Till wednesday otherwise its mtg or tft
replayed dead island, dead island riptide and finished with dead island 2+dlcs. now its some roguelikes and pubg
I go back to 7 Days to Die with the Darkness Falls mod at least once a year. Playing for a month or two is enough to experience the latest changes and get a good world going, then start to burn out in time for the new league.
Sold my build doing MOP remix WoW having a blast
Playing Factorio on a sever with a couple friends.
The factory must grow!
Well TW:WH3 is def AAA but after the most recent update lets just say the Nation calls and its time to summon the elector counts
Respectfully, not everyone knows every acronym for every game.
It's total war: Warhammer 3
Factorio, started an Fallout 4 run and played some Monster Hunter:World.
Back to rimword!
Dota 2
Dota2 just had a huge patch. Time to lose MMR.
D4 season is pretty fun right now. For once actually enjoying the game after a year since release lol
FF14 and Warframe to get my grind fix

V rising was fun for a week, a bit of Helldivers 2, that's about it.
Crusader Kings 3. Before that Knights of Honour 2. And some Shogun and Pharaoh (Total War)
Currently desperately trying to get better at Mortal Kombat. Hades 2 is also A+
Ruthless, as a softcore trade enjoyer I always thought Ruthless wasn't for me. But just tried it, and it's honestly sooo addicting, takes a lot of time tho. But just piecing stuff together as you go is a lot of fun
I am NOT playing Factorio because I don't want to burn out when DLC comes out
wuwa, valorant, lost ark. I've been pretty bored/burnt out from games, so I also end up studying...
Poe, Rocket League, OW
CK3
Shadow Gambit
Valheim’s new ashland release. Brilliant game, very immersive
Deep Rock Galactic Survivor, finishing up Cyberpunk, writing scripts to automate parts of my job, walking in aimless circles around the house, normal late league stuff, you know.
I relate to the aimless circles...
I play CK3 occasionally. I'm planning to get Eiyuden Chronicles soon.
Nothing man. I'm out here struggling, studying for my finals.

Same here bro, great game

Hopped to Last Epoch, had a blast. TBH PoE has become my side game compared to LE. Once I felt good with LE some Valheim, and now picked up Hero Siege.
All the money I saved from not buying GGG packs I bought a simrig and have been racing poorly in it.
Dawn of War Soulstorm with the just-released Unification 7.1 expansion mod ORKS ORKS ORKS ORKS ORKS
titan quest
d4 is fking amazing right now. Like SO much fun. Having like 5x more fun with the new systems than necropolis. Will be back next league after they fix stuff, but this league was just absolutely in no way in hell for me. Quit 5 days in.
Wuthering waves, terraria, rabbit & steel, minecraft, LoL
When I quit a league I usually end up getting into team fight tactics
just recently started playing satisfactory which seems like a good time killer until the next league, if you like this kinda of game ofc.
Tekken 8, street fighter 6, the outlast trials, arena breakout, Castlevania hd collection, guild wars 2, dead by daylight
Im basically done, I just hop on to craft a bit, help out ppl in the guild. But for now I’m just playing apex or wuthering waves, maybe league if I feel like it’s a good day to hate my life
PoB... Lol hope they don't extend the season
Stardew Valley and Warframe, but looking for something else to scratch the itch. Struggling because DnD group always cancels on me.
Getting a character ready for the elden ring DLC. Also, I picked up EAFC for free on PSN+ so I'm getting into that too.

I have been playing yakuza 0, hope i can finish kimawi 1 and 2 as well before the next league launch.
I'm playing stardew valley. I bought dredge on olx and it's arriving on Monday so gonna play that.
Lol, d4. They actually fixed a lot of shit. Feels like the league will be good for 100ish hours
I play Clash Royale and Vampire Survivor-likes on my phone, it's nice to be able to lie in bed and just zone out. Gives some rest to my aching carpals after a long hard league of grinding on PF.
Usually it’s escape from tarkov but the game is basically on fire right now so it’s depressing gamer times
Dabbled in d4, new item changes and forever helltide are great. But since I never did all the renown stuff before, trying to slog through it all now to have it done forever is sucking the fun out of the game.
Prepping for Dawntrail in FFXIV. Getting all the stuff ready so I can make mountains if gil in the post xpac rush
Gotta finish Elden Ring finally, maybe do a 2nd run. (easily top 3 game of all time for me) Maybe I'll buy Lies of P, reviews seem sick kinda on the fence but it's on steam discount right now.

I've been enjoying playing Torchlight infinite, last epoch, and Warframe when I get league burn out.
Bg3
Hades 2 has been a ton of fun. A step up from the first game in every way imo.
Valheim, it’s always Valheim. But only because a large server I play on started a new world last week. Ghosts of Tsushima and my beta access to Once Human are whimpering in the corner for attention.
Bdo + destiny 2.. I have a family and a fulltime job dont ask how i do it.
Wow cata

Escape from Tarkov and Hades 2 atm. MHW is pretty neat too
I don't really go back and forth between two games, I jump to whatever I'm interested in.

Currently playing the 1.6 update of Stardew Valley. Its fun for me to play relaxing games after all the blastings i did this league
