What are the temps? Is this your Win 10 (7700k) --> Win 11 (12700k), or is it a fresh new Win 11?

This would be an install of windows using the reset the PC method, as I don’t have a fresh copy of windows on a USB or otherwise. Someone else has said a fresh copy would be better.

Fresh windows install. Nuke everything and start from scratch. My money is on a software issue.

Like another comment said, for me personally, before spending tons of money on hardware, I'd nuke my PC and do a fresh pure install to rule out anything software related

Jolly_Pizza

When you say a pure install, what does that look like? For me, I am entering windows update screen and resetting PC. Is this correct or would a fresh copy from a USB be better? I've reinstalled windows a total of 5 times now resetting PC, the 5th time being an update to Win 11.

I usually play safe and do the USB method, where it wipes the SSD, repartitions it and install windows from there. Then I would install all windows updates until there's non left, restarting multiple times. Finally then I would start installing the necessary drivers

I think this might be what you're talking about. Does this tell you anything specific? Fault bucket , type 0 Event Name: LiveKernelEvent Response: Not available Cab Id: 0 Problem signature: P1: 141 P2: ffffdc0348b50010 P3: fffff8007d51b790 P4: 0 P5: 4440 P6: 10\_0\_22621 P7: 0\_0 P8: 256\_1 P9: P10:

Revert your Nvidia drivers to older ones, the newest drivers are fucked up.

Jolly_Pizza

I have tried this with no luck, same issue.

I would do a complete fresh install of windows, with a full format of your OS drive. Reason being is that with the change of the motherboard, you may have some remnants of old chipset drivers lying around that may be causing some conflict... not saying it is definitely the case, but it's worth exploring to see before you start buying new stuff. 1. Backup your shit (docs, games, whatever) that you want to keep (I would also take note of all the stuff you have installed through programs and features in the control panel, so you know what to re-install after the wipe) 2. Download W11 to a USB [https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-installation-media-for-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-installation-media-for-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d) 3. Boot from the USB, follow on screen instructions to format your OS drive (keep in mind this will delete EVERYTHING on that drive) and re-install windows 4. Re-install all your stuff, restore from your backups and see if the issue persists.

Run OCCT's power test. CPU at 100% is normal and was not a problem for an older 4-core design.

Jolly_Pizza

Update: Fresh new install of windows 11 Pro via USB drive, same problem is happening. I also did OCCT power scan for 10 minutes with no errors, as well as CPU, RAM, memory, 3D standard/adaptive. Freezing all games within the first 10 minutes. Temps are stable.
