Just initiate the transfer from the *other* institution.

Apprehensive-Duck272

When do the transfer limits reset

KRed75

Pull it from PNC using the other bank account. I've run into this before and just pulled it all at once from the other bank.

jodie_who

just found this, while i’m sitting trying to do a lump sum transfer to an external savings account. my limit seems to be $2000 a day and charges if i transfer more than 6 times a month. This is crazy, i can try and pull it from the other account but i think they might block it. I feel like i can’t get access to my own money.

TheKageyOne

Only advice I have is switch to JPMo Chase.

jodie_who

i spoke to them and they said i can’t request an increase to the limit. For transfers over the limit i have to wire the money and pay $25. None of it makes sense to me.

TheKageyOne

It makes sense if you consider that PNC really is just awful. My free transfer limit with Chase is 25k/day and 100k/mo: more than enough for me.

keredkered

ask them to change it. my external incoming limit with pnc is $25k a month and outgoing is 150k a month

How do you view your limits ?

1quirky1

Sorry to necro this thread. I just asked about this limit and the rep said that they cannot increase the limit.

Just found this post and having the same issues. How did you resolve this? The 'pull' request from the other bank was rejected by PNC twice. And PNC keeps limiting daily/monthly transfer requests. Were you able to increase the transfer limit?

TheKageyOne

No resolution. I've switched to Chase for my primary banking. Only keeping PNC open for some a small loan rate discount. Switched to JPM Chase. 25k daily transfer limit, 100k monthly.

Damn. I tried writing a check to myself and doing a mobile deposit. Hopefully that works. It's so dumb that the tiny slip is paper is considered more secure than sending between two confirmed accounts. Thanks again!

OldCook7042

exactly the same thing for me. All of a sudden a 2K limit. No recourse.

TheKageyOne

The only money they get from me anymore is enough to cover an auto billed low interest loan.
