ginamit ko nomad. goods siya, used it twice already (indochina and japan). veryyy convenient paglapag palang ng eroplano may internet/data ka na HAHA never had any problems whatsoever naman. and i’d use it again!
Hello! Yung kinuha ko yung 10GB for 30 days. I paid $6 last March. I'm not sure if they have a promotion ulit. Don't forget to use a referral code din. I got an extra $3 discount because it.
Used it for 11 days in JP, okay naman. Less hassle and sobrang mura compared sa actual physical sim sa airport. Naubusan lang ako ng data siguro on my 8th day so I had to repurchase a promo, pero other than that, very smooth lang ang paggamjt.
Used it in Australia. Super convenient and automatic nagconnect data.
If you need a discount code ito yung saken JEFFRE4680
$3 credit ata yan. Goodluck op :)
I used Airalo in HK, SG/Malaysia and South Korea. In HK, I enrolled for HK-specific coverage. In SG/Malysia and South Korea, I just chose Regional where 18 countries are covered. I had no problems with the coverage in all these countries.
Gamit ko to sa Japan, super okay. Di mo na need magbalik ng wifi device. Inactivate ko na sya sa NAIA, tapos nasa ere pa lang ako ng Kansai, may signal na.
Have used airalo in EU and the connection was decent so decided to use it as well during my stay in PH, and it uses Globe network so the connection is dependent on that. Compared it with my cousins who are with Globe, and the connection aligns with what they have (eg locations I don’t have reception, they experienced the same)
Just make sure you turn off your primary line to be completely sure you won’t get charged by your home provider.
thanks for the heads up. Did you activate it at the airport and then turn off your cellular then too? i'm assuming it just takes over once it can grab onto Globe connection when landing in PH
You can install/activate it in advanced (just be cautious of the time expiration) my stay was only 3 weeks and I took the 20GB for 30 days so I activated mine like 2 days before flying, and then just turned off the line until I got to the PH airport to turn it on. This is the time I turned off my primary line as well.
Used Airalo sa Japan last Feb, no issues whatsoever. Solid connection and decent speed of 20 to 40 Mbps.
For Singapore however it was garbage. At random times it would not allow you to connect kahit may signal and this would last for hours at a time. It was incredibly inconvenient. Nagsawa na ako kaka reset Ng eSim so I Just subscribed to Smart roaming. 699 for 3 gigs ata para lang magka data.
TLDR: Airalo is great sa Japan but garbage sa Singapore
Used Airalo when I was home last October and it worked perfectly well, more than my expectation. We drove from Manila to Bicol and signal was great every time I checked my cp. On the rare occasion that it didn't, it wasn't airalo that was the problem, it was my vpn connection. So I had to disconnect my vpn and reconnect, took less than a minute (faster even).
from google: "A VPN, which stands for virtual private network, establishes a digital connection between your computer and a remote server owned by a VPN provider, creating a point-to-point tunnel that encrypts your personal data, masks your IP address, and lets you sidestep website blocks and firewalls on the internet."
So I used it to protect my data, while I was there I was also using both private and public wifi connection and you know how much personal information we have on our cp.
I used Airalo in Japan last March. It was very convenient and easy to install; you can set it up and activate/turn it ON once you've landed in the country. Definitely a go-to esim option for international travel.
From the reviews I read, they constantly pit it against airalo. It worked great for me when I was in Manila and was really pissed at how bad my local SIM was (Globe), with speed throttling and all.

Hi! I haven’t used Airalo, but I used Nomad in several countries since last year. Connection works well with easy installation.

Works well in Canada, Singapore, Vietnam. Also, let me know if you need a code with $3 off 😂
😂 i may come back to this in a few months to take u up on that
Alrightyy. Haha
Used it during my stay in japan and it worked pretty well, sometimes i had to restart my phone though cause it wasn't picking up a connection.
been hearing that a lot. after you restarted, it connected though?
Yeah it worked fine after restarting.
Hi po. Yung nakaindicate po ba sa airalo package like 1 GB for 7 days, yung 1 GB na po yun for 7 days or is it 1 GB per day for 7 days?
1 gb yun for 7 days
Hindi po ba mabilis maubos?
Kung google maps ka lang naman matagal maubos yun wag ka lang mag load ng mga pictures/videos
Got it po. Thank you
Used it during my 1 month stay in the US. Worked really well I never lose connection
I have used it in Canada, US and here in Pinas. No complaints.
Used it for recent trips, really convenient to top up as well if needed. Reliable din yung signal
Airalo worked great. Used Asialink for HoChiMin, Cambodia & Thailand. Use ‘ROAR7500’ Code for $3 referral credit
Good enough, most of their partners have the largest coverage.
did you have any issues getting connected or having to restart your phone to get connection ?
Not reallt. Used it EU/NA and all over asia. No issues at all. Maybe some minor ones, but I could not remember since its minor things.
ah got it, thanks for your input

Used it in JP. No problem naman! Medyo bumagal na nga lang nung around 2gb na lang
Used airalo. Goods naman. Kakaland palang ng eroplano may signal na
Never had issues with Airalo in Japan. Used it March this year.

Used it in JP, all good. Used it in SG, ang bagal
did you end up using something else in SG or stuck with it?
use code PRINCE4731 for $3 off, OP!
haha thank u!! for Airalo or Nomad ba
airalo sya
Gamit ko to sa Japan, super okay. Di mo na need magbalik ng wifi device. Inactivate ko na sya sa NAIA, tapos nasa ere pa lang ako ng Kansai, may signal na.
very helpful thank u 🙏🏼
Nomad is cheaper. Both work naman. Just choose which has the best value for you.

It should work fine. I guess they just have hotspot limitations but you should be fine.

good to hear, but can I ask why use a VPN?

Used it last Feb nung nag bakasyon ako sa pinas. Mostly okay naman siya. Hindi rin madaya sa data. Globe ang connection nila sa Pinas.
I used it in Japan. Had problems for the first 2 days then after that ok na.

Used it in Japan and wla naman naging problem. You’ll get $3 off if you use my code :) FRANCE2696
thank u !!
Check out Maya.
ive heard if this one, seems less popular though? good experience using it?
From the reviews I read, they constantly pit it against airalo. It worked great for me when I was in Manila and was really pissed at how bad my local SIM was (Globe), with speed throttling and all.
Unlike airalo which uses an app, you top up from Maya’s website.
