This is selectively cranked saturation, mainly in the reds, so the greens weren't affected as much. Somebody was hoping to get away with this unnoticed. Or maybe they were trying to recreate what they saw in their mind's eye. Either way, it's not a reference to reality.
Lol, it was definitely a real waterfall, that they installed a pipe into for drier seasons when there isn't a lot of water to still make it look good for pictures.
Really a dumb thing to complain about when it doesn't hurt anyone and got way overblown.

Photo is edited to enhance colours and its likely fake anyway like their "Asia's highest waterfall" which turned out to be a pipe
