For the record, I actually named my dog Seamus. This is him

It's adorable. Although poor Seamus never got let in from the outside. LOL!
Then there's the "Mademoiselle Nobs" version from *POMPEII...* also a funny moment.
The band has quite a zoo going there: A cat, a mouse, two blues-howling doggos, whales, fish, a pig, more dogs, sheep, etc. Also, solo stuff involving octopi and sea turtles. Other solo stuff with chimps who watch TV, etc...
... and the band is also a bunch of critters: A bunny / raccoon who plays guitar and sings whose replaced by a lion / doggy who plays guitar and sings, a big grumpy horse who plays bass and sings, a kitty cat who plays keyboard and (sometimes) sings and a beaver / koala who plays drum and barely sings.
Filler.
Floyd filler playlist.
Pow R Toch, saucerful pts 1 and 2, before celestial voices, main theme, dramatic theme, quicksilver, A spanish peice, more blues, narrow way pt 2, several species, sysyphus pt 2, all of grand vizer, alans breakfast, seamus, absolutely curtains, new machine 1, signs of life, new machine 2, terminal frost, marooned, ebb and flow, unsung, lost art, noodle st, night light, calling.
A funny little blues jam with a dog. Not as good as "Pluto the Dog" by Manfred Mann's Earth Band, but MMEB probably wouldn't have done that track if PF hadn't done Seamus before.
I think it's a cool catchy tune. They did it to be silly, but I think it's better than people usually give it credit for.
Yeah, it's a nice little change from a band that typically isn't known for being silly or light-hearted.
Is (that the dog)?
And more importantly, is he outside?
Don’t forget that he was in the kitchen !
Straightforward and fun blues song to end Side 1 and cleanses the palette before Echoes
Palette cleanser is the best way to describe seamus I’ve ever heard

he is cut How old is he?
He just turned 2
absolutely gorgeous
Thank you! He’s a sweetheart
Best Pink Floyd song tbh

Thats the dog
It’s a silly little song, harmless, not even filler, it’s like ob-la-di, it’s just a fun song
If Beyoncé covered it, it would be the biggest hit on the planet since Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas”.
I like how the dog is singing the blues. It’s great
Had a dog that loved it. Would sing along. Same dog would absolutely freak out at the end bit of Bike. Miss that dog.
Best song in the album
Just a bit of fluff really. The kind of stuff they used to do.
It’s fine little funny throwaway. They needed 2 minutes to fill on Meddle.
Overhated because it’s just a cute silly song about a dog and not about SOCIETY
I prefer it to San Tropez, but my dog barks if I play it too loud. Cute, bluesy, lazy, playful.
Confession time, I almost always listen to Seamus and Echoes together.
I think it’s amazing
Good boi
It’s a dog
(That's the Seamus)
it's a good song. It's ok to like it.
Garbage and ruins an almost perfect album.
How and HOW
It's a bad Pink Floyd song. But not a bad song really.

This is the stupidest take ever, but I respect it

Not a fan of Endless River, I see. 😁
I like it. Good driving music.
the best playlist you'll never listen to
marooned is a masterpiece though
Accidently. It is a jam. It just has memorable changes. It wasn't composed. It works. Well deserved Grammy. But still filler in my book.
Its not a bad song, but its very out of place on Meddle.
Bad. Really bad. Album killer bad when the rest of the album is perfection.
It’s okay
A brillant Song!
I like it :)
Wouldn’t ever play on its own
Yes.
Thus bleat the sheep: Sheep song goo-oo-ood Seamus song ba-a-ad
Do you like it? I do, and my dog used to as well!
i was in the kitchen
It's Meddle's "Bike". A not too serious tune that's written well enough to be some dumb fun every now and then
It's a song
I named my French Bulldog Seamus because of this song

Rest in peace sweet prince

It’s kinda dumb.
Good
skipped 9 out of 10 times
Idk. I was in the kitchen
Woof
