"Could be Llanelli and it could be Warrington."
Luckily, I saw two KAOS shows at London’s Wembley Arena in 87.
A Pros and Cons show at Earl’s Court 84.
A Momentary Lapse show at Wembley Stadium 88.
I did also see two Pete Townshend and Deep End shows at Brixton Academy around 86 which David Gilmour was guitarist. Treated to him doing "Blue Light" and "Love on the Air" from his About Face album. Great show, think it’s on you tube somewhere..
Various performances all over YouTube. [Here](https://youtu.be/F7nSpubQpc4) and [Here](https://youtu.be/vP_qJsD7-EM) I much prefer About Face to the “Pink Floyd” albums that followed.
Nice one buddy, thank you for those belters👍. Such a great line-up, but Townshend’s dancing alone was worth the ticket price! Simon Phillips is a colossal drummer, breathtaking stuff. I’m in agreement with you regarding "About Face" too. "Murder" and "The End,” as well as the two you kindly posted here are a bit special I’d say.
I saw PF in Detroit 75, Cleveland 77, Detroit 87 & Detroit 88. Saw Roger in Detroit 84 & Detroit 88. Saw NMSOS in Detroit 2019 & Detroit 2022.
PF 75 was amazing! Easily the best of the bunch. Second best was NMSOS 2022.
That’s so surprising, I was born in 76 so didn’t get to experience those live but of the bootlegs I have always found the 77 shows to be my very favorite
When I was 14 my dad took me to the Pink Floyd Division Bell tour in Winnipeg July 1st 1994. I had no idea who they were and was pissed at him for making me miss the Canada Day fireworks in my small town of Portage la Prairie. Little did I know that my mind was going to be blown. I walked out of that show in awe at what I saw and had found my new favourite band.
Fast forward to 2008. Roger Waters came back to town on his Dark Side of the Moon tour. It was my dads favourite all time album, so I had to return the favour. His health was declining at this point (He was 49 at the time) and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer not long before. He was so excited for it. We had eaten some weed cookies beforehand, and they kicked in right before the show began. It was amazing, and instantly became a night I would never forget.
Then in 2011 Roger Waters came once more to Winnipeg to do his The Wall tour. My dad at this point wasn’t doing well at all health wise, but when I mentioned the show to him he instantly became excited at the possibility of us going to see one of our favourite artists of all time. We had everything planned out for a great day, and had our weed cookies all ready to go. The day before the show, I received news that my dad had passed away in his sleep at the age of 52, at home with his faithful dogs laying beside him to see him home. I was devastated. I decided to continue on with my plans to go to the show as my dad would of wanted, but I couldn’t bring myself to give away what was supposed to be his ticket so I went alone (I knew my pop was with me the entire time). My life was upside down, and I was at an all time low after just losing my best friend, and the person I owe almost everything too. I almost bailed actually, but felt that I would be letting him down if I did. Once the music kicked in, I became lost in it, and it became the most emotional few hours of my life. It was almost as if he was physically there with me. It is what allowed me to begin the healing process as I felt that that show was our final goodbye to each other. It was very healing for me at the time.
I miss my dad so much every day, and in those times I love nothing more then to sit down and spin an album from Pink Floyd (which were his and were passed down to me) and imagine the two of us at one of their shows, together, laughing and having the time of our lives. Music really does have healing properties to it. So thank you Roger, David, Nick, Richard and Syd for providing me with what is literally the soundtrack to my life. And last but not least, thank you dad for introducing me the greatest band the world has ever seen.

Rotterdam, in April this year. I'm only 20 and have listened to Pink Floyd for only 2 years, so I consider myself lucky I have been able to see at least part of Pink Floyd live. Of course I wish the full band was still around and playing, but that's somewhat impossible.
Saw Floyd at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA. May 30, 1988. Best concert I've ever attended
