It's not inherently bad. I like these bands too. But we are the guys who listen to Pink Floyd. By default we are the ones who dislike generic mainstream things and like to act like our taste is better than that.
Pink Floyd is the OG psychedelic, worldwide mainstream progressive band. It's a stereotype, a ubiquitous t-shirt. The true circlejerk would be to name all obscure experimental groups nobody listens to, desperate to be original and superior.
I cannot understand how this band is only receiving a handful of votes every day. It can only be because no one really knows their music. I recommend every PF fan to go now and listens to their Eye in the sky album on the highest fidelity device you have.
