Death stranding, don’t judge me

Death Stranding’s a great game. Amazing atmosphere, interesting story and the soundtrack is unbelievably good (love Low Roar). Over time I feel like people have come to appreciate it.

In my opinion its a game that you cant just play and enjoy you have to like the type of game it is to enjoy it

I didn't care for it, good graphics but I didn't have fun running around trying to balance and only run... The motorcycle wasn't much help, I'm glad I just played it free on Playstation or I would have been missed buying it & hating the game.

I understand that game was decisive for whatever reason, but it struck all the right chord with me.

If you have an old disc version of the game. Like an old one, you can play it unpatched @ rock solid 60fps on PS5. Just don't download any updates.

I’d recommend a bit of a break in between to avoid burnout. Gameplay wise they’re very similar.

I did play it on ps4 back when it released, but it's been so long now that I've  forgotten most of it. It feels like a brand new game!

Thinking about picking up Helldivers 2 but just not much a social gamer. Heard it can be kinda cool even for people like me though?

You can play the game solo but in many cases, it's a lot harder and a bit less exciting. I've been playing half with squads and half on my own when I feel like being alone and I'm having a blast.

You can do solo pretty decently up to hard difficulty but so far I haven’t had issues with randoms. Playing with someone you know on the mic does make the game WAY more fun but the game is pretty great regardless. You can also type on PlayStation by holding the touch pad so if you’re too shy to talk in a mic then that’s always decent alternative.

Yeah, man, get in there. You can mute randoms (change it in the settings, and you'll never have to hear anyone) and make do with just pings and the callout wheel, or you can play solo just fine most of the way through the game. I mostly play solo or with 1 or two friends if they're online, not so much with randoms but I hear it's pretty chill either way

From Yakuza 8 to Helldivers 2 accelerated this month into high gear. Now we’re less than a week away from REBIRTH. FUCK YEAH

This time, I plan on doing progress in ch 4 so that everyone stays alive and happy, and just doing side content until I get bored, than saving and moving on to something else. That way, I can occasionally boot it up and just do some hunting.

How is it?

You have to spend a lot of time fixing the car. But it is actually fun. Story is interesting. It is a survival X rougelike game mix. When you go out in the world, it is quite horroristic. Gives me anxiety, but in a fun way. Driving is enjoyable, despite its flaws. Sometimes steering is frustrating. Also this game somehow gives me Back to the Future vibes. Tldr: I recommend it, this is something unique like Alan Wake 2.

I beat Ghost of Tsushima yesterday, but I still have to do (most of) Iki Island. I played Dead Island 2 yesterday on Game Pass, and I bought Banishers and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth I was offered Helldivers 2 as a gift, but I don’t think it’s my type of game

I’ve been doing another run of Elden Ring since the dlc announcement but I keep going back to helldivers 2 because it’s so fun

Guardians of the Galaxy. Only a few chapters in but so far it’s a lot of fun, and definitely a must-play if you enjoyed the movies!

Apex as my go to MP/PVP game, Helldivers has been a lot of fun with my younger brother, beat the Cyberpunk DLC (idk if I’m going to complete the main story now since I’ve beat it once before), beat the FF7 DLC for the first time in preparation of Rebirth and capping off the month with, of course, Rebirth.

SmalLand. A nice little survival game i came across a few days before its console release. Was a fun one to play with friends for a good week. Honestly kept my attention longer than helldivers did, but thats me.

I have not played hell divers because of the wait times, I love the game but I had a 6 hour wait time once

Just picked up my PS5 Slim and it came with Spider-Man 2. I bought Hogwarts Legacy, The Last Of Us Part 1, and the Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition that includes Spider-Man Remastered and have played a bit of each, but am going to finish TLOU before anything else. Just finished chapter 1 and it is so mush better than the PS3 version. I’m glad I skipped it on PS4 to enjoy the “next-gen” experience.
