Same or I was (am) notorious for falling asleep while playing late at night so I will save randomly otherwise I wake up to a dead DS very confused and annoyed

1, always. You don't block the counter or the front door, that's just rude - what if someone needs to heal their Pokémon while you're not playing the game? 😆

Now all I can think of is where everyone has ever saved while playing pokemon and all of them being on the world map at the same time. That would be so inconvenient for anyone who doesn't have fly lmao

Think about the random locations of trainers on routes. Maybe that's THEIR save points

Naaah, 4. Get a nice spot and save. Especially the games that are already finished and I won't be going back to for a while. You feel like loading up gen 4 after 3 years, open up your old save and are standing at the cliff next to the league, music and all? Ugh, yes.

If I’m saving the game so I can stop playing, always 1. I never wanna put myself in an area that I’ll end up dreading to return to, so I go there to make sure I can come back to a team with full health. It also has to be in the middle, and anywhere else is unacceptable.

Usually I save inside the Pokémon Center sitting at the tables/on the cushions, but when I'm 'on the go' I save usually at a lakeside staring at the water. It's so tranquille :)

Answers the question "what was Indoing again?" real easy. xD

I always had a timer and every 15 minutes I saved cause I used to forget about saving😭 (I still do it.)

I play on emulators except for the switch games, so anywhere, including in battle. One time, I opened up my game to a randomized version of the Candice fight where my pokemon were at Red hp, but I remembered I had a plan, I just couldn't remember the plan.

I'll typically save wherever, but 9 times out of 10 it's after a gym or other major/scripted battle. With the Switch now, since I can home screen to see my battery, if it's less than 30% I'll save every 10 minutes or so.
