High altitude, probably, but definitely near running water, ideally a waterfall. Based on all the dex entries and in-game encounter areas, it seems like they value the ability to stay clean. Based on the beak shape I'd say that (at least with Swablu) they're fructivores, and probably will opportunistically eat fish if the chance comes up.

I think they'd be near forested hills and mountains to be able to blend in with clouds whenever they head out to forage/hunt (depending on their diet).
Areas that are just high or remote enough to have very few, or a lack of, humans despite how friendly they are made out to be in the Pokedex entries.
This blending with the clouds is a verry good idea. You are probably right about they look for place without humans, they look like those birds that need quiet places to live. Is cool when one pokemon make you love him so much that you start to love the others mons of his type.

I always have a soft spot for ghost type and underdog characters, Bramblim and Brambleghast embody the two traits. In my first run of Violet, when I ran into tumbleweed thought to be a background item while exploring Asado desert, it turned out to be this cute tumbleweed ghost, since then it never leaves my team , Farigiraf is the other constant that stays throughout my run as my team was always in a flux due to new encounters in vast open world of Paldea. I hope the next gen still includes Bramble line and it is going to always be my ace and probably my signature.

Chikorita is my fave starter I'm not shure why I wrote haunter meant gengar as he is my all time fave and his ex number is the year I was born and he just look like he'd be all squishy and huggable Dusknoir also looks like he gives good hugs and little I've wanted a tiger based starter for ever and with little littlein is the starter I chose for my scarlet playthrough I do seem to favored the grass starters lol

Of all the Pokémon, excluding the ubers, I would seek out a Mawile. My favorite non-legendary.
Machamp, Falinks, Minior, and Scovillain could do the same thing.
If Mewtwo existed, I would want to seek him out and befriend him.
Mawile is a nice choice, very strong pokemon and I think she is not that hard to catch. I remember to have use a Mawile a lot in a emerald run, she was a very safe pokemon to a lot of matchs.
For sure all the legenderies would existe, and probably just one of each, so a lot of people would go after them. An advnture going out for a legendarie for sure would be very fun and probably long haha

Froakie, when I was like 11 or smthn and they removed Pokemon XY off Netflix I was fuming and I even cried. Greninja to this day is my favorite Pokemon.
Oh I feel sorry for you. I had to watch most of the anime in the internet so I know how frustating it is when they just shut down your favorite show.

Fossil pokemon. I was a dinosaur kid and I'm still super into dinosaurs, so the second I learned dinosaurs can come back, I'd be off trying to get one of my own. Especially Aurorus. That's one of my top 10 favorite Pokemon.

High altitude, probably, but definitely near running water, ideally a waterfall. Based on all the dex entries and in-game encounter areas, it seems like they value the ability to stay clean. Based on the beak shape I'd say that (at least with Swablu) they're fructivores, and probably will opportunistically eat fish if the chance comes up. I think they'd be near forested hills and mountains to be able to blend in with clouds whenever they head out to forage/hunt (depending on their diet). Areas that are just high or remote enough to have very few, or a lack of, humans despite how friendly they are made out to be in the Pokedex entries.
This blending with the clouds is a verry good idea. You are probably right about they look for place without humans, they look like those birds that need quiet places to live. I always have a soft spot for ghost type and underdog characters, Bramblim and Brambleghast embody the two traits. In my first run of Violet, when I ran into tumbleweed thought to be a background item while exploring Asado desert, it turned out to be this cute tumbleweed ghost, since then it never leaves my team , Farigiraf is the other constant that stays throughout my run as my team was always in a flux due to new encounters in vast open world of Paldea. I hope the next gen still includes Bramble line and it is going to always be my ace and probably my signature.

Here you not only get a great drawing of your favorite pokemon, but also pose alongside them. The goal is to have 151 trainers and share their favorite pokemon moments and stories. Of all the Pokémon, excluding the ubers, I would seek out a Mawile. My favorite non-legendary. Machamp, Falinks, Minior, and Scovillain could do the same thing. If Mewtwo existed, I would want to seek him out and befriend him.
Mawile is a nice choice, very strong pokemon and I think she is not that hard to catch. I remember to have use a Mawile a lot in a emerald run, she was a very safe pokemon to a lot of matchs. For sure all the legenderies would existe, and probably just one of each, so a lot of people would go after them. Froakie, when I was like 11 or smthn and they removed Pokemon XY off Netflix I was fuming and I even cried. Greninja to this day is my favorite Pokemon.
Oh I feel sorry for you. I had to watch most of the anime in the internet so I know how frustating it is when they just shut down your favorite show. Greninja was made to be a success in my opinion, very cool design, amaizing typing and very strong for battle. He was one of my favorites in X/Y too and I loved how they gave him a lot of imprtance in the anime. Oshawott for super cute and cuddly otter boi with water powers, or Dragapult, yes, I'd go for a literal ghost that's also a literal dragon, that's in our real world so no anime/game physics, it's just so awesome.
Oshawoot is so cute I love him too, just the perfect match of a cute animal with some pokemon magic. If I could I would have a bunch of Osawott plush. Dragapult would make a perfect starter too with that cute Dreepy at the beggining. Fossil pokemon. I was a dinosaur kid and I'm still super into dinosaurs, so the second I learned dinosaurs can come back, I'd be off trying to get one of my own. Especially Aurorus. That's one of my top 10 favorite Pokemon.

If I were to embark on an adventure, I'd choose Bulbasaur as my Pokémon companion. With its loyal and nurturing nature, and the ability to grow and adapt alongside me, it would make for a trustworthy and adventurous partner.

As for my favorite regular everyday pokemon, give me a Froakie to start off my journey and I’ll be a happy man, greninja is my #1 all time favorite. #2 goes to Garchomp so you’d bet those two would be lock ins for my dream team

I would try and catch every Pokémon if they were real. Not just my favorites. I just like all of them and I think it'd be cool to interact with all of them.
I'd want to go after a wild Spiritomb and bond with it, always been one of my favorite Pokemon since Sinnoh when I wasnt able to obtain it. Nearly 20 years later, I was so thrilled to find out I could catch a wild Spiritomb in Pokemon SV. I bee-lined to it Spiritomb despite being way underleveled, I got an egg and raised it from level 1 to now.
Eevee and Cyndaquil. if I were to get any more than those 2, then probably just more eevees for the evolutions.
