If i can add one tip. Don't be a douche. Voice your legit concern and opinion. Don't curse, don't insult. I'm 99% sure the team behind this knew it was not ready and/or a stupid idea but were ignored by the higher ups at Niantic (common issue based on stories from current and ex employees).
This is exactly what people need to do is write to niantic saying you've changed the aesthetics of an item I bought which looked good at the time that you've now absolutely butchered.
I already wrote them and left a bad review! They answered my support message with ”lol too bad” basically and asked if I was content with their resolution lmao NO
I didn’t get a catch encounter after beating Weezing in a raid. It even shows it in my journal, which I screenshotted. I’ve sent 10+ complaints and constantly get the same, cookie-cutter response:

I had the same issue. They only ever have the automated response that denies you. After 16 attempts, I said I had account issues and it put me to a real person who immediately credited me a remote pass
A lot of people have said they've left bad reviews on the app store, yet when I go there, I don't see any of them. Why do I feel like they're going to completely sweep this under the rug and pretend that 100 percent of their players enjoy the update.
I'm just writing them everyday about things I notice. Why is my torso long? Why are the sleeves on the jumpsuit uneven? Why are my jeans so low now? How come I can't have correct body proportions but you made sure I could make my boobs bigger? Ect ect ....
Literally all the clothes I’ve ever bought are completely unwearable, it’s so sad. I don’t want to spend all pf my coins on new clothes that would look good bc THEY decided to fuck our characters up

This is something we should be asking google/apple about. They changed something you bought without you knowing the outcome. You should be able to get the coin packages refunded, assuming they don't just say "well we don't know what exactly was purchased with the coins soooo we cant."
I think something like this happened with Galaxy of Heroes. People spent hundreds of bucks on a character and they gutted it. People refunded, and they went okay, okay, we get it. We'll, fix this.
Whales have a voice. The people who spend 5 bucks do not.
Whales will never spend anything on shop items if they keep them this shitty.
Niantic should be sued honestly. If games like Fortnite are required to offer refunds for changing already released cosmetics this should be no different
I agree. They changed the content that was purchased. Even if it’s in their TOS that doesn’t mean it’s going to hold in a court.
If enough people go in on it, they may be pressured to issue refund.
This would be a lot of work but if you paid with a credit card get all those charges reverted 🧠 can be under a clause of something like “product not as advertised” or something of that nature
Ive never spend money on clothes even if they are gym earned.. but my daughter was very obsessed with how her avatar would dress i made her spend a fee coins.. she woke up mad because her avatar looked like a boy lol
Don’t buy anything else if they don’t change it. I noticed some pants that cost are normal, that’s an awful practice, don’t buy them, they will know they were right if you buy the now normal clothes 😅
Open a support ticket in-game by going to the Help menu and choosing “Chat with us”. Leave a 1 star review. Try to request a separate refund through your app store. Delete the app if not actively playing. Be vocal.
I also paid for the Instinct black jeans that used to give a 🍑… Now they just look like it hurts to sit, no cushion lol
They did keep the muscles on the Cliff shirt, though. It looks like their target was women and the female body shape.

For real though! I had the same top and pants combo and it's hideous now. I would have never gotten them the way they fit now. They didn't even TRY, the pants line is in totally different area than before
I need more clothes to match ANY Pokemon like my Alolan shiny marowak. There’s basically nothing purple in the store from what I’ve seen. I finally found something to match my Rufflet!
Really? You dont see the 300 mile long midriff?? They made almost all in game pants low waisted as well as sagging in the crotch area so none of my crop tops are flattering at all

I've seen some way worse looks and I understand those people getting mad but this seems so small of a thing on her account. It's hella weird.
There are some valid examples floating around of the new avies looking bad in their clothes. This isn’t one of them. This looks pretty normal as in average-body-type normal as opposed to the snatched-model-waist everyone is used to. Some people are just jumping on the bandwagon for the fun of it I think
I literally don’t have a problem with the actual body type of the character. I love that we have bigger sizes to choose from.
The problem I have with the change is that they also changed how the clothes sit on the character, which is not flattering in my case or opinion. If the clothes fit like they did on my old sprite I would probably not care too much.
I feel like it’s really shitty to have spent poké coins on clothes that they completely changed and no longer flatter my sprite. If I had had this body shape from the get go I would have just paid for different clothes that looked/fit differently
Are you kidding me? The first picture looks like the avatar is bloated after eating 7 big Macs, on the edge of ripping their underwear.
Maybe you have a bad phone screen, or your brightness is set too low to see the contrast in the picture, but if you looked closely, I don't believe that you are not seeing any difference.
The new one shows the belly button in the middle of the torso and all previously "high waisted" pants are so low they show a bit of underwear on the sides lmaooo

Mine was for primal kyogre that an international friend sent me a remote invite to. So I lost out on the catch chance and wasted a remote pass.

Stomach is slightly longer & whiter. It’s like the most minimal difference I’ve seen.
