So am I playing against bots then? Because the opponents have definitely used shield blocks more than twice in a match - we’ve gone block for block and then they’ve blocked me once or twice more
Some people who play pvp alot say that this is a real, but very uncommon bug.
I play many teams where getting my opponents down in shields and then swapping in something like a shadow gallade for the kill.
I watch the shields like crazy.
I have never seen this bug in thousands of matches.
In your case I think you are new and just miscounted.
I haven’t screen recorded any battles because it only happens every now and then and I can’t know in advance, but if there is a way to replay the battles I happily would do to review and share. I am 100% sure it has happened at least once - like I said they blocked with a shield at least three times, and I’m sure there was another. We traded block for block and then they blocked another time or two when I couldn’t
Ok I have just had it happen again, definitely three shields - in the summer league, my ivysaur got blocked by their poliwhirl, they switched into a shiny Scyther who blocked my ivysaur, ivysaur died so I swapped to my oinkologne, used body slam with my oinkologne and the shiny Scyther blocked again! Oink died and my shiny Charizard came in, killed oof the Scyther with almost enough to use the charged attack again, they came in with a raichu and I beat it with my Charizard charged attack

You can't. Trainers only ever get 2 shields in a PvP match

I don’t usually play a lot of the go pvp battles but have been doing it a bit more lately with the summer league and the milestone rewards
They haven't. Unless you have video evidence to the contrary I will apply Occam's Razor here: you're remembering wrong

I honestly do not believe this happened.

Film it next time it happens then, since it seems to be a common occurence for you. I havnt seen it happen in over 2000 battles.

Yeah I'm in the 10s of thousands of battles and never seen this. You claiming it means nothing..video evidence or nothing.
Has happened to me multiple times today now!
