My best spawns have been at night. Just last night I finally got my first metagross spawn, 2450 cp. 2 weeks ago I got a Salamance spawn. I prefer night time playing, but I also wait until it's very late and will roam around the area with my car. I wouldn't want to go walking late at night personally.
Pokémon spawn all night. But raids don’t.
Field research also changes at midnight to get different tasks.
I have found more Kecleon at night also when I take my dog out late.

Same, I drive from park to park in my car with a cup of coffee
I used to play only at night last winter. They spawn like during the day. Sometimes slightly different mons
yes pokémon still spawn at night
Some, if not most, of my highest CP have been night spawns. Not sure if it’s just coincidence or not.
Just watch out for men.
