The 9/15/15 on is alright-ish for great and ultra league (assuming it falls within the cp limits) something closer to 0/15/15 is better then that though.
great league and ultra league melmetal are best with iv of 1/15/14 and 0/13/14. melmetal does best in master league, but you want as close as possible to 15/15/15 for ML
Well that’s dumb why would you want one with lower attack? Granted I’m newer to the game and I don’t understand every aspect of it, but I would imagine that having higher IV would make them better
Ohhhh so if it has lower attack, there’s more room to level up it’s CP and get more health and defense versus one that’s already reached its max CP for the league because it had higher attack, right?
Precisely. For example, one with high atk would hit the CP cap at lvl 25 while one with low atk would hit it at lvl 30. I just made those numbers up for illustrative purposes.

The stats are like inversely dependent on one another, so lower attack is better.
