i got the mystery box.. + nanab berry.. and the 2x candy and x2 transfer in 2 occasions i got 800 meltan candy.. but not sure which meltan should i use..
He collected 700 from the one mystery box, but his screenshots show he has now over 1000 candy.
I think we're both right depending on the frame of reference!
I would have gotten mine the other day too but I caught some toddler agro (my son wanted attention) and I didnāt finish. Oh well, my box apparently respawns in a day lol.
I have used the mystery box about 5 times now with an average catch of over 110 per activation, and I still have yet to get a single one with IVs above 80%. This post is simultaneously highly motivational and IMMENSELY INFURIATING.

Where did 1002 come from? Transfers I guess? didn't really consider that. He just said he had 700 candies in the title.

Iām really crappy at explaining it but look for info about PokemonHome and the bonus box for transferring PokĆ©mon. It grants a box that spawns Meltan for an hour. I just learned about it the other day from this sub.
Your correct, I too just learned about it a few days ago on this thread. But just google PokĆ©mon go mystery box, and it should explain how do get it. Itās actually really simple and took me less than 10 mins to do

Do you just get it credited to your account, or do you have to do the initial trade stuff?
Download the app then go to settings in PokƩmon go and find PokƩmon home and transfer a PokƩmon over. Then go to PokƩmon home and receive the transfer and the Meltan box will appear in your items in PokƩmon go :)

Genuine question: how can you met 110 per activation? I barely hit 60
They appear more frequently if you are on the move. I happen to have a pretty brisk walking pace, even while catching PokƩmon.
I've been really lucky with Meltans. Currently have three 4 Stars in my inventory. I also caught a Nundo but transferred it by accident š.

Congrats! My hundo Meltan was cp lvl 15. It's taken an absolute ton of candy and stardust to power it up, but its good now.

Why do you bother to count every single one? Seems kinda oddly specific.
When they transfered the ones they don't want they can just read the number.
I didnāt count, when I transferred them out, it gives you the count
