A soccer ball ⚽️ the classic black and white. Let that float in the water. All the birds will think it’s a predators eyes peaking out of the water. Won’t see another bird again! GUARANTEED!!!
We tried: chimes, useless dog, inflatable predators, running at them yelling, reflective balls, multiple floaties. What worked: betta skimmer bot or floor robot running constantly
This ! We secure them in place with a bag of rocks and rope. Then when you walk by do your best Sam Jackson with “MF snakes in the MF pool” !! No more ducks
Had this exact problem last week, then found this: https://lesliespool.com/bestway-h2ogo%21-funspeakers-duck-baby-boat-float/78872.html. Real ducks don't come around here no more.
Chlorine. Ducks don’t like the smell also a pool cover would work. But you need to check your yard and bushes carefully as they may be nesting in your yard which is why you can’t get rid of them.
We did it all. For us, it was fishing line that works. Get like 6 or 10 bricks and tie one across to the or other side. When the ducks hit fishing line they are in for a surprise. No more duckies in our pool. They go to our neighbor's pool now.
Ducks only came in my pool when I opened it and had some issues with equipment so it sat without shock or chemicals for a week or so. Once we got the pump working and shocked the pool they never came back.
We started shooting ducks with a BB gun when they got in or near our pool. Doesn’t hurt them, just annoys them. After we did it for a while they moved on to another place that they weren’t getting shot at. They haven’t been back.
Plus the kids went crazy every time they saw a duck and it was good fun.
There’s a motion activated device called The Scarecrow that sprays water
Here’s a similar one I found on Amazon

I just put a half bottle of duck away in the pool. It usually lasts about 3 weeks, depending on how much rain we get. I'll just add more if i notice the ducks are back.
not sure if already said (so many comments), but a neighbor used an automatic sprinkler that, when the birds were detected, the sprinkler came on and scared them away. we felt so bad because for some reason, his was the only pool in the neighborhood that had the duck and bird problem. but, the sprinklers worked.
Don't laugh, but try bottle rockets.
They work on geese for sure. You fire off a few in their direction, scare them away. It's not a lifetime scare so keep some around for when they return but when we did it to the geese we had no goose poop for several months.

I like your thinking.

SHOULD I GIVE EM THE CLAMPS, BOSS?
Remember Duck Hunter on the old Nintendo?
I came here to say this...
Put up a sign that says: *NO DUCKS*
Maybe the sign should say: DUCK SEASON
RABBIT SEASON!
That big duck has a bald spot :O
A couple decoy owls around the pool, preferably ones that make sound, should keep them away.
As someone who used to install solar pool heating I can tell you the owls do 3 parts of fuck all to keep birds away.
>3 parts of fuck all Oddly specific...
"Fuck all" is a very common unit of measurement in the recognized offical Australian metric system.
So for a dumb American. Does that mean the owls work or don't work
About as good as a bung plugger on a hot day at the beach
Correct.
I was referring to the 3. I've heard "fuck all" plenty
Drain the pool.
We tried: chimes, useless dog, inflatable predators, running at them yelling, reflective balls, multiple floaties. What worked: betta skimmer bot or floor robot running constantly
They like to float around on my betta
That was my biggest fear after shelling out for one 😆
Is this an actual picture of your house or a screenshot from the Sopranos?
Is this really about the ducks?
So no fucking ziti now?
Offer the biggest one a fight. Be sure to showcase solid shadow boxing before you do in case he takes you up on the offer.
Call Tony Soprano. He’d love to have them in his pool
Put a blow up alligator in there it worked for us although it sounds stupid

Tractor Supply and most hardware stores will sell inflatable snakes, I have several customers that have done this in the past to keep the birds out.
Is there anything like that for leaves and twigs?
Inflatable rake
I dad-laughed at this.
This ! We secure them in place with a bag of rocks and rope. Then when you walk by do your best Sam Jackson with “MF snakes in the MF pool” !! No more ducks
Hahaha I literally walked outside the other day and found a duck in the pool. Glad to know it’s not just me.
How do we know you aren’t the guy in the pool in the picture? Maybe it is just you?
A dog

Get a fake owl at Home Depot, and move it around the pool
Get a dog.
Get a floating alligator or crocodile decoy. I’m a pool guy that hates ducks and that has worked every time.
This spring I found a duck swimming in my pool that already had a blow up alligator in it. 🫤
Chlorine. Ducks don’t like the smell also a pool cover would work. But you need to check your yard and bushes carefully as they may be nesting in your yard which is why you can’t get rid of them.
Call Boots and The Ginger.
Allegedly 😆
Build a duck blind beside it.
So what, no fucking ziti?
See a psychiatrist.
Carmela? Can you tell us what happened in the diner?
We did it all. For us, it was fishing line that works. Get like 6 or 10 bricks and tie one across to the or other side. When the ducks hit fishing line they are in for a surprise. No more duckies in our pool. They go to our neighbor's pool now.
This works. In fact you can do it up higher so you don't have to worry about hitting it while you're swimming.
Buy a gator, or a brown bear, maybe both.
Inflatable gators 🐊 are effective
A few snapping turtles will work just as well. Or one if you are patient.
Remington 870
Throw in a big floating dinosaur it’ll scare them
Ducks only came in my pool when I opened it and had some issues with equipment so it sat without shock or chemicals for a week or so. Once we got the pump working and shocked the pool they never came back.
A friend of mine put an inflatable sharks in his. The ducks left.
We have an inflatable seal and alligator. Then tend to stay away from them.
Put an alligator in there. Problem solved.
Pool cage is an extreme option but it keeps everything out and keeps your pool cleaner

Golden retriever..... Mines 4 years old. Not a duck in the yard since he was about 6 months old.
I've had good luck this year so far this year with two Intex alligators and 2 dancing dolphin inflatables
Alka sektzer
We had a LARGE inflatable yellow “rubber duck” that we kept in the pool for most of last year. My mallard friends haven’t been back since 😞
Elmer Fudd scarecrow
Motion sensor sprinklers. You can try all the others, but the sprinklers are the best.
🦈
Cover free works
Labrador.
The real question is: how can I get ducks in my pool???
I think you know
Sorry I’ll stop throwing duck food in your pool.
Get a Bluetooth speaker and play birds of prey sounds, they will leave.
Get a snapping turtle. Cleaned the ducks off my pond.
If this sub has taught me anything... SLAM!
Swan decoy
I have 6 rubber / plastic snakes on the deck. Keep in it , they will “fertilize” the pool and promote algae growth.
There’s a motion activated device called The Scarecrow that sprays water Here’s a similar one I found on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009F1R0GC/ref=sspa_mw_detail_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9kZXRhaWwp13NParams
Fry them and serve with rice and white wine. Mine also did that, but after applying the technique they were very disciplined.
Shotgun
I just put a half bottle of duck away in the pool. It usually lasts about 3 weeks, depending on how much rain we get. I'll just add more if i notice the ducks are back.
Why is your water level so low
not sure if already said (so many comments), but a neighbor used an automatic sprinkler that, when the birds were detected, the sprinkler came on and scared them away. we felt so bad because for some reason, his was the only pool in the neighborhood that had the duck and bird problem. but, the sprinklers worked.
Make an offer they can’t refuse
Natural chemistry cover free
I think riding a jet ski around in it will get rid of the ducks
Alligator mississippiensis
Shotgun?
Teenagers with BB guns
I bring out the hose every time my pool gets invaded
I throw ice cubes at them
A recipe should work
A shotgun makes for good duck gumbo
Aww, they're cute. Let them be. They're not hurting anybody. IMHO they class the place up.
They poop on everything and really make a mess, the poop in the pool and destroy water quality
Everyone send your ducks to this guy’s place - cute large duck party.
Just shit in the pool.
I was told algaecides may help many years back. Seemed to help the pools on my route living lakeside
Shotgun
