He has interviews where he’s talking about how he was a piece of meat in gotj but he made a lot of money from it so he made peace with it. Have yet to see any man ever look better. Most can’t because their narcissism shines through any attempt but Brendan is just a good human and it shines.

Honestly its really crazy how the movie flips the sexualization on its head. George is almost naked in 95% of the film, and there is an emphasis put on how he’s nice, and kind, and loyal. He is strong but its not like “grr me strong man protect weak woman” which you kind of get with these tarzan stories. And then Urusla the female love interest is pretty covered for the most part, and the focus is on how smart, capable, interesting and beautiful she is. When I was younger I didnt know why I liked it so much other than Brendan being almost comically hot (theres plenty of hot guy movies) but the movie being so female-gaze-ee i think really caught me. I love this film lol.
