A member of one direction said I had a nice voice once and I remind my friends constantly. There were witnesses and there's a recording which makes me even more insufferable about it.
I’m acting cool rn like “well I think for me it would depend which one said that to me” but deep down I know no matter who it was I would cross stitch it on a pillow and fall asleep each night holding that pillow in my arms so I see it first thing in the morning when I wake up
All I'll say is it wasn't Harry Styles but I was still absolutely on Cloud nine. Something about having someone famous with "legitimacy" say that had an effect on me even though I wasn't necessarily a fan of the guy who said it (it was Liam lol)
A girl I follow on tiktok was just at the Fenty Hair event and got a video with Rihanna and she actually made Rihanna laugh pretty hard and everyone was like 'imagine being the person who made Rihanna laugh' and I was like yeah man I'd be pretty unstoppable for a while after that XD

Maybe but she's also been here a while. Accents fade after a while. Cause I noticed it comes and goes within one sentence. Hers was also never super strong to begin with
She has a pretty standard Bajan accent. It's not the heaviest that a Bajan accent can be, but it's not the weakest or closer to that end of the spectrum either. When her accent is weakest, IMHO, is when she's doing her media facing speaking. And even then, her accent is still there.
Bajans are infamous for our accents changing quickly even if we just visit another country - not even move - for like a few weeks. It comes back when we come back home though. The fact hers is still evident is pretty astounding.
Her accent was super strong pre fame. You have to look at videos of her pre debut on YouTube. She must have worked a bit with a dialect/accent coach before hand or maybe stayed in the states for a long enough time post signing but pre debut to get her accent to what it became and where it is now
