I think he waited a liiiitle bit too long to go see the doc…but I wonder, would this brutal procedure really be done in a more western country? Wouldn’t it just be IV-antibiotics and a hospital bed?
Yeah, if I walked into the ED looking like this I would be on IV antibiotics, and some nifty painkillers pretty quick. That’s the kind of thing where you don’t have to ask the patient how bad the pain is!
Antibiotics and bed would not heal multiple abscesses like presented in the video, operation is inevitable at some point, even in most advanced clinics. This brutal procedure and this poor kid's life was made possible by multiple drugs (a/b included) he received for sure.
Every time I’ve had surgery they’ve put in a breathing tube (down my throat) and then nasal oxygen if needed. They could absolutely knock him out without it. If a mask is used a lot of time it’d just to deliver the medication to put people to sleep. Again this is how it’s done at the hospital I’ve been out, may not be like that for every place 🤷🏼♀️
Yeah, even milia and fordyce spots don’t usually get like that. At one point when they went under the lip I wondered if the infection started as a dental issue.
Considering the swelling, there was very little content expressed. Kid should gone to one of those spa places. They would have expressed his tonsils out with a small needle!
Man that kid has some serious pain tolerance to wait that long. Or sadly healthcare and money where he lives is an issue who knows. But all I know is I would have been put on oral antibiotics the minute my lip got puffy.
As of the procedure it seems like they could have went about it a better way. First I gotta say that’s the first time I’ve ever seen pustules on the inside of someone’s lip that was crazy. But it almost seems like they would have been better off just doing one long incision on the inside of the lip to avoid any visible scars. And that way they could have throughly cleaned out any nastiness. I’m of course not a Dr so I’m not sure if this was an option but it seems more logical than making a bunch of small incisions across the whole lip.
I have no medical training whatsoever, but this doesn’t seem like acne- especially the spots in the mouth.
I do have cystic acne and have had some gigantor sized spots (like golf ball sized).
I’ve had multiple that were probably more than half of this and it was treated by a cortisone shot and antibiotic.
Genuinely surprised at the number of individuals commenting on here regarding the noise and how it ruined it when there is a literal mute button not only on YouTube but on your phone or computer as well 🤦🏻♀️
![gif](giphy|gKHGnB1ml0moQdjhEJ)
and yet you're whining about their comments when there's a dozen ways to ignore those...
having to personally deal with someone intentionally shitting something up is annoying, even if you can make it a bit less shit
Just a heads up guys, I didn’t pick the background noise lol. I watch most videos on mute so I actually had no clue there was a damn zoo going on in the background haha. I do apologize though!
Oof. That was tough to watch. It looked so painful!
Also the bird spundtrack was kinda weird but the random fly buzzing occasionally made me snicker because that’s the last thing you want to hear when you’re doing this. Lol.
Kept waiting for a good solid squirtin' money-shot than never came. Lots of slow pus pushing out though. Gotta say end result after healing was AH-MAZING.
The disfiguring infection was bad enough. The doctor then proceeds to butcher the patient’s lips. I’m not sure random, without rhyme or reason jabs was the way to go — I could be wrong. This was a difficult watch!
That was probably one of the most gruesome wounds I've ever seen. I was so impressed at how he got that lip back looking like a lip. Amazing. Now I'm wondering how he got that way in the first place. Bug bite turns into cellulitis?
This is for sure a botched lip filler. That is all one big abscess, they needed to open the whole thing up, scoop all the contents out, drown it in antibiotics and let it drain. Poking 50 holes is just more areas for bacteria to form and keep this infection alive. That poor boy is going to lose his upper jaw from infection because what they did in this video just made everything worse.
If you read my comment under the video I stated that I generally watch most videos on mute. I don’t even listen to them. I had no clue a damn zoo was in the background. And I think most people with a bit of common sense realize that half if not all of the videos posted on YouTube are pirated at this point lol.
Brutal In every way possible
*birds chirping*
*flies buzzing*
Why on earth are we doing this surgery in the rainforest???
Definitely advanced viewing
Wtf I'm glad they posted an after treatment pic. That was insane
I only watched a bit of this one because of this comment

Nifty pain killers lol

Oh my gentle Jesus That was brutal
Not much shocks me anymore in this sub but HOLY FUCK.
They should have knocked him out for that.. Jesus
Can’t. The mask would cover the area of the surgery.
That's what cartoonishly large wooden mallets are for

Nurse here, for a conscious sedation lasting this amount of time in the video, it would require oxygenation
How do you think they do maxillofacial surgery
Surely there’s more clean gauze in the building
BzzzzzzzzZZzZzzz
Poor guy I feel so bad for him. Also someone needs to catch all those damn birds.
That poor kid is really having a rough time
I'm going to be grateful for the lip I've got despite its imperfections forever more after watching this - massacre?
Anyone else get the feeling with how localised it was lip injections gone awry?
Yeah, even milia and fordyce spots don’t usually get like that. At one point when they went under the lip I wondered if the infection started as a dental issue.
Oh my GOSH. I’ve never been so horrified watching one of these before. That was BRUTAL.
Christ. Coulda done without the fucking bird noises.
Are they doing this in the jungle ffs?
!!!!!!!
The aggressively chirping birds as the background sound was a choice that I don't know I would have made.
lol at "ACNE" plastered over the screen when this is almost definitely MRSA.
It reminded me of when my husband had MRSA in his thumb and it was swollen to about 4x normal size-yet hardly anything came out of it during surgery.
Looked like his lip was one huge carbuncle.
This is the greatest piece of media to ever be broadcast in the world wide web
What the duck?
So many incision holes and scissor punctures 😩
Tf else would they do? Slice his lip open?
🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

Did he have an extra row of teeth like a shark or did I imagine that
Lack of space will crowd teeth together and make it look like that. What you’re seeing are teeth getting pushed back.
I saw what looked like an “extra” behind #9 and possibly a few others too.

Boo that babyshark crap
Ouch. Volume warning please. That was painful.
Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope
Literally butchering bro 😭
People in Beverly Hills would kill for this.
Why are there birds in an operating room
It was first posted on Twitter
No words! WOW!
Well, I didn't have trypophobia, but I do now.

Yes, I’m a veteran in the viewing industry and this shit hurt to watch
Poor kid. Was that level of carnage really necessary? It seems like no effort to limit damage was made at all!

That was hideous! The poor kid must have been really hurting.
I've never felt so sorry for someone...

Oh man, I just saw this yesterday. Poor guy! I can't imagine going through this!
If this ever happens to me, I give yall permission to knock me out before they start
That looks agonising
Oof. That was tough to watch. It looked so painful! Also the bird spundtrack was kinda weird but the random fly buzzing occasionally made me snicker because that’s the last thing you want to hear when you’re doing this. Lol.
That was underwhelming . I was expecting a lot more from that. It looks so horribly painful though… poor kid.
Jesus Christ. How do you let it get this bad before you finally decide you need to go to a doctor.
If that’s MRSA, it can flare up real fast.
Holy shit that was brutal
I don’t usually get squeamish with popping videos…but this one takes the cake!
100%. That's one of the most gruesome & painful looking videos I've ever seen here. Noped out early. Ughhhh.
Kept waiting for a good solid squirtin' money-shot than never came. Lots of slow pus pushing out though. Gotta say end result after healing was AH-MAZING.

Good god almighty
That has to be a special kind of hell.
Poor guy. That looked awful.
The pain afterwards must have been off the rictor scales …. That was rough
This doesn’t seem like simply abscesses. I’d expect more liquidy pus rather than the little pebble things. Anyone else think the same?
I wonder if dental block numbing would work better for this it doesn’t seem like they were numbing them very well.
I think this guy's down a couple of quarts of blood after this.
Holy Mary Mother of Pearl! That was savage
Reminds me of grilling hotdogs
Weird thing is, girls pay big money for lips like that!
That was hard to watch! Damn!
Why the birds?
My god the pain he must of been in. Poor kid
Came here to say, 3 seconds in- the squealing birds, I’m out
Oh this poor child.
Fucking ouch
How the he'll did that get that way????
Just 😳😳😬😬😬
Tell me they put him under for this.

bruh they show the after pic at the end. he's doing fine. chill.
Exactly! I'm like "Oh, bitches can't complain because they showed us the after photo." Go to the comments and the bitches, are indeed, complaining.
Bro don't need any lip filler !
Can't beleive they didn't knock that poor kid out Fucking hell
Amputate
![gif](giphy|jqw5xeYmPS8jlmgGq7|downsized)
i feel sorry for him
Next video stop with the bird noises
obviously a stolen video.
Huh? How is it obviously a stolen video? And I certainly hope you aren’t accusing me of stealing it? Lol
Not accusing you but, AI narration with jungle animal background?

Underwhelming.
That’s fucking herpes
😂😭
