General Mod Note Grocery posts are here to give people a place to show off their good purchases, to lament the expense of groceries, or to otherwise comment on their food budget. They are NOT an invitation for the "food police" to come in and harass them about what they choose to buy, criticize their health decisions, or knit-pick their spending habits. Criticism and advice is only welcome if the Submitter overtly asks for input. Food Police will be asked to turn in their badge and their gun and will be placed on suspension. I can turn basically anything into a sandwich and somehow it’s more appealing than it’s previous form.

alternativebeep

sandwiches are 10/10 always

Galactic_Perimeter

“Hey wanna eat a half pound of lunchmeat?” “Nah not really…” “How about if I wrap it in bread and throw some cheese on there?” “Fuck YEAH baby I’m IN!!”

..... There's chicken?

Electrical-Debt6372

Where's the chicken??? There's to much sandwich not enough chicken.

COKEWHITESOLES

The croissants are pretty thin, couldn’t overload them lol

I’ll buy whole breast when they’re on sale and make a bunch of shit after quartering it up. Another hack is rotisserie chickens from big box stores like BJs, Costco, and Sam’s. I use half for enchiladas, and whatever’s left I’ll make pulled chicken, chicken salad, and use the carcass for a soup.

OstrichSalt5468

Got some French bread from Walmart. Made homemade Alfredo sauce. Toasted the bread in olive oil, added a tomato and a sprinkle of sea salt and drizzled Alfredo sauce on it. So so good.
