Nope. Use industrial revolution plan gatherers and use TeslaLib mod for speed and energy upgrades for those machines. If you can't get those yet, make farmers from actually additions they do 7x7 area and will work with agricraft
No problem! Little tip as well, hook up some crafters directly to your farmers and craft the essences (when you get there) into their final form. Saves a step in crafting and looks nicer once you get into AE mass storage. Obviously don't have to do this if the essence is used for multiple crafts, i.e. nature or nether
I did this exact thing on an 11x11 and it bricked my save, had to roll back. I noticed that once the seeds were 10/10/10 I was able to plant them without sticks. This is as far as my testing went though
