Sometimes weeks, sometimes a year. It depends on your dm and sm

WildWillieDooDah

Months or years.

6 months but chile.. once you ask the first time, prepare for them to now have leverage over you and prepare for how much they're gonna b*tch you out before they decide or if they decide to give it to you. also... if your manager and SM are pushing for it. if not.. you'll be a part time associate for life.

Depends on you and your managers. I worked with a guy for ~2 years and they refused to give him full time and instead dangled it in front of him for those 2 years. They gave 2 different people full time a week after they started while dangling it in front of the other guy. There's no real time table, it's all you/manager dependent. Also, enjoying Publix as a job may fade. 2 months in I was so sure I was going to be with Publix forever I got a new car, now the car payments are the only reason I'm still here.

SydneyTheCalico

That could take a long long time. I honestly wouldn’t hold your breath.

CharacterRide7091

Well if you're a strong guy and can handle yourself and unload trucks and have a good general general knowledge, I'd say you could do it in a couple of months.

I changed departments from customer service to produce. Then it took about three months for me to get FT. It's entirely dependent on your manager, department availability, and your availability.
