Josh has been pretty clear… It’s up to Dave. They all need to be available, but at this point I’d be happy if we could just get all the B sides and a live album; basically this exact show. TCV is a top 5 album for me; of all time. I’d do anything for a follow up.

kenticus69

I do agree re: at least getting a live show out there properly. Foos have dates thru end of September and queens have dates thru end of October. Nothing announced for 2025 yet…..so at least their official schedules MIGHT have some time for the boys to get the gang together. We can hope!

Ravager135

It seems like the possibility always remains. Obviously we want JPJ on an album and on a tour, but to be fair he doesn’t owe the fans anything at this point in his career. I’m happy to take anything with Josh up front and Dave behind the kit.

kenticus69

Oh I agree - jones can do what he wants. They all can really. I think though for it to be vultures, they wouldn’t do it under that name without all 3 + Alain johannes

porkpie1028

Just get JPJ to the Soundside show in CT in September. Queens and Foo headlining.

Thin-Guarantee-614

This!!! I’ll be there and I’m reeeeally hoping for some treats…. Like Dave and Norah doing a thing or two. I would lose my shit. 😍 I’m also hoping we get Dave for Song for the Deaf and ??? If Alain and JPJ make an appearance… I could die a happy woman.

Senior1292

2025 will be the FF's 30th anniversary, given the missed the 25th (for obvious 2020 reasons) I imagine they'll want to do something big for it.

No_Interaction4027

The only b side is hwy1 (live) released with the mind eraser single id kill to hear all the unreleased tracks like Orca, I Should Have Let Them Go, Break Glass, Bombs away, dead wrong and studio versions of HWY1 and Can’t possibly begin to imagine

glow162

Yeup, it's definitely up to Dave it seems. Foo Fighters is cool and all, but.. DUDE wtf!? At the very least, do another TCV album, STAT; John's not getting any younger And while he's at it: Maybe put a pin in Foo, even if just for a minute, and drum for QotSA again..?? I understand that FF is a money making machine.. but damn

Ravager135

I appreciate what Dave has done with the Foo Fighters. They have some great songs. I enjoy some of their more recent work just as much as their first three albums. It’s the outlet Dave absolutely needs. All of that said, while his creative contribution will always be measured most by the work done with his own band, his long term influence and mark in music is with him behind the drum kit. I don’t care how much money he makes with Foo Fighters, his best work will always be Nirvana, arguably QotSA’s two best albums, and TCV.

Tall_Trust_5304

Yes, this album is a masterpiece. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

TheMostDapperdDan

jpj is the biggest reason i am upset they havent made another album...dude isnt gonna be around forever and it wont be the same without him

Senior1292

In particular: No One Loves Me And Neither Do I Scumbag Blues Bandoliers Spinning In Daffodils Warsaw

MyFriendFats54

You forgot Caligulove. Watch that dude play the keys with his hands and feet

Maken66

This upcoming QOTSA break might be our last chance for TCV 2, it doesn't seem likely... but who knows!

emtee_elp

No one knows

BaseballOk1656

They have some rules to follow

emtee_elp

That and this? These and those?

pizza_nightmare

I’m fine if they don’t get back together. That was something like a lighting in a bottle recording/tour. For it to live forever as a perfect one off? It makes it even more legendary.

Senior1292

I 100% agree. I think, especially after 15 years since it came out, just keeping it as an incredible moment in time is perfect.

MonThackma

I feel fortunate that I got to see TCV twice. Just amazing.

Senior1292

Saw them in 2010 and then the three tracks they did at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert in Wembley, front row both times. Incredible performances.

Thin-Guarantee-614

Seeing TCV at the Tribute was incredible. I still don’t have words for that whole experience.

Senior1292

Same, I look at concert ticket prices and think about that show. £80-90 for a 6 hour concert with some of the biggest names in music. Could have been double the price and it still would have been the best value for money show I'd have ever go to.

Garfielddddddddd

We don't even need to have a tour if JPJ isnt up for it. If anything just polish up what they had left from the first album and drop it or just record something brand new, play the Forum for a couple nights, and call it a career.

endowedchair

holy crap, that bass riff on Gunman! up there with riffs from the first QOTSA album

Thoseweredaysofroses

JPJ played a show with Thurston Moore recently. So I assume he can still do it….

MrPsychonaut11

Maybe the most underrated rock band OAT? Saw them at Aragon Ballroom and was the best show I’ve ever seen. Please tour again 🙏

Cfunk_83

Definitely one of the most overlooked projects of all time! I was lucky enough to see them too. It was a really spontaneous decision to go as I found out there were still tickets available about 2 hours before the gig. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

port0null

I was there. Fuck it was great. And fuck, time flies.

Smoothsailing47

Just get Geddy Lee for it, I would be taken aback with what he comes up with around Hommes guitar riffs and grohls drumming

Cypresss09

Josh Homme, Geddy Lee, and Dave Grohl? That seriously has the potential to be the coolest thing to happen in rock history.

Maken66

Geddy was at the Queens show in Toronto last year, it's happening, confirmed! :p

Clamper5978

That’s not a bad idea

Anattanicca

oh man just had a thought of them doing an album with colin from radiohead. that would be so cool.

Wechillin-Cpl

Great album

Tirekiller04

Good lord, I forgot how fucking insanely good they all are at their jobs. TCV is an all-time record (obviously) but I don’t watch the live stuff often. I pray that they go for one more ride.
