Sherwood Restaurant and hotel for natural wines by tap and locally sourced produce! Delicious stuff - must try is the wood fired oyster mushroom + other stuff (forgot) bread
Recently visited and really enjoyed Margo’s (not fancy, just good) and Bella Cucina (a tiny bit more upscale, but still not overwhelmingly fancy). Both places take reservations as well.
We went there a couple of weeks ago and they interrupted our meal as we were eating to ask for a review. Was very awkward and seemed quite unprofessional. The meat was fine, but I wouldn’t go back.
Went to Botswana Butchery a few weeks ago for the first time. It was fantastic but honestly not worth the price.
$350 for two adults having a full course and two drinks each. It wasn’t much better than places that we’ve spent $150 at.
Flame Bar and Grill hands down. We once planned a Qtown trip solely for the purpose of being able to revisit this restaurant again, it’s awesome. Highly recommend the Mozambique Prawns and must try their mushroom sauce.
Tanoshi is also really nice if you feel like some Japanese food. They have a couple of different locations, the one in the city centre and the one in Frankton are both good.
"The Cow." Not talking about ya mum
Had some great pasta there. I heard they had great pizzas but I went solo and didn't want to waste food.. pasta was good.
Amisfield hands down one of the best restaurants in the country. Always a good time there. Not cheap but worth it. For in town Botswana Butchery is just mint.
Blue Kanu, The Bunker, Jervois, Rata or Tanoshi in Queenstown. Amisfield or La Rumbla if you are likely to be out of town and closer to Arrowtown.
Would not recommend Bunker, it's run by a bunch of drink spiking date rapists.
Please elaborate…..!!
Report this to the police
What’s the story here?
Jervois
If you swing by Frankton i recommend Giovi's. Love that little italian restaurant
100% So much higher quality than the location would suggest.
I found it super over rated..
Blue Kanu!
Nest Kitchen was amazing! plus the view is world class, It was extremely memorable
Blue Kanu ftw

Botswana Butchery! I love that place. After that, Jervois.

Flame is our favourite restaurant in QT and I always get the Mozambique prawns too.
Also worth checking out The Nest in fernhill as well. And Ayreburn the new place in Arrowtown which is a swanky little restaurant village
Ayeburn is a dystopian wank fest
What all the same biscuit , then the last to come eats it?
didnt see this when I posted the same!
Second Ayreburn! So fancy!!
Gibbston Valley Winery for lunch yum yum
My absolute favourite winery
KFC - sorry couldn’t help myself 😂
Margo’s!!!
And Soda! Soda is amazing
Fogo Brazilian BBQ is so good, all you can eat :)

Flame is amazing 🔥 10/10 great call.
Second that. Flame is my favourite restaurant in QT and Mozambique prawns are awesome.
Sherwood and Aosta. Botswana is nice if your looking for a more old school steak house vibe.
I endorse Sherwood and Aosta as the unofficial ambassador for both. Do the ‘trust the chef’ at Aosta if you can.

Soda! Awesome views, staff and food. A newly opened spot by republic hospitality. The design is also gorgeous.
Ferg burger
Queenstown, the bunker would my pick , if you are able to make it to Arrowtown , Aosta and order the chefs selection would be my favourite
Aosta over Bunker anyway off the week. Would not step a foot near that rape dungeon.
If you head over to Wānaka, try Kika, Arc, or Mutton Bird 3 favs trhis side of thr hill
Second for kika
Blue Kanu for sure!
Ask at Botswana Butchery if you could have a private room, only fits 2.
Margos
Flame, is the answer
Tanoshi and Jervois!
Aosta in arrowtown is 🔥
Flame
