I feel it. I'm worried about the world cup. I honestly think that if it wasn't for the automatic qualification for being a host country, Mexico wouldn't have a good chance at making it.
It’s extremely concerning times for Mexico national team. They are struggling to beat concacaf teams, getting rocked by Uruguay, USA consistently beating them now. They have no identity and no aura anymore.
Agreed but World cup is expanded teams to 48 teams and they still might expand it more.
With this expansion Concacaf now gets more teams directly into the WC so even if mexico finishes like 6th they would still be in the playoffs for WC qualifications lol
I’m not worried about them getting in especially with expanded format now lol. It’s just how bad they look and are most likely be a group exit. I think copa America coming up will tell us how Mexico fares against legit countries
to put things in perspective.. up until 2/3 years ago it would be insulting to compare us to the US. We wouldn’t even entertain the thought of holding ourselves to the same standard as the US. Now i truly believe we might be the 3rd best team in concacaf.
I teach so I have normal summer break, but I’m still taking classes. I got my masters last winter, but I’m taking the next step so I can get another raise and maybe land a superintendent job down the road.
I’m also finishing my principal stuff and trying not to die.
I think it would be fucking hilarious for a Canadian team to fail in the finals and I love rooting against McDingle… but I can’t lie, I would love to see them do the seemingly impossible
I agree that it will be funny if they lose in the Finals, like has happened several times during the curse, and it would be especially funny to lose to Florida because Miami is the opposite of a hockey town, but I've really enjoyed watching Edmonton in these playoffs. I am a Penguins fan (first game I ever watched was Lemieux's comeback) but I've really enjoyed watching the way Edmonton presses and passes. My kinda hockey.
While it would be great to see a Canadian team win I have to argue that even though it's an American based team, it's still mostly a Canadian team player wise there are something like 13 active roster guys that are Canadian. It's like when the Raptors won, yes it was a thrill to have a winner so close to home but the players all went back to their respective homes in America after the parade. Unless it's my favourite team or one of my favourite player in the championship then I just cheer for the players from close to home.
Technically yes, rosters are overwhelmingly Canadian across the league, but if they lose the narrative will once again be "Canada's national past-time won by tropical town"
It's still fun to go and tailgate, I'm going Sunday. We have to enjoy them while they're here, but I don't expect the actual game to be good at this point.
#SellTheTeam
nice man have fun i’ll be there in july and again for the last home game then we’ll get a couple more years of california A’s at least before they hopefully fall out with las vegas and sell the team 🤞🏼
A few months ago I was working in Portland and the WWE Raw production crew was staying in my hotel. Partied pretty hard with some of the crew at the hotel bar and they hooked me up with tickets. Went to the show and it kind of sucked lol. It's all entrances with pyrotechnics and rambling speeches. Haven't watched wrestling since I was a kid so I was open minded but man it was boring. Props to the fans tho, they were feeling it.
lol 😂I got 300 in two accounts one I take profits from and one for my kids and their kids
but between RK tweeting and posting YOLOs everyone expecting MOASS but I been in since the 21 seconds run up(I missed the first) I’m a GME long
Outside football and maybe basketball playoffs I don't really watch sports. Really I just watch pay-per-view sports and it's more of a social aspect than actually caring about the sport.
Me and my friends/coworkers/friends coworkers rotate who hosts sporting events or poker nights. We'll do all the big WWE events, though that's not everyone's cup of tea, UFC, boxing.
I think I'm up next for WWE Money in the Bank, probably gonna smoke some ribs or a few tri tips.
Since the NFL season ended:
Dublin Gaelic Football team - league (secondary competition) runners-up; favourites to win their tenth national championship in 14 years, season ends in July.
Dublin Hurling team - making the last four of the championship would be nice.
Irish national rugby team - current European champions, second title in a row.
Leinster club rugby team - lost their third European final in a row. Getting close to Bills’ levels of blowing it.
Dipping in and out of pretty much every major sporting competition, especially if there is Irish interest. Irish athletes had a decent European Athletics championships, there’ll be a few at the business end of their events in the Olympics. Same for a bunch of other events as well. The Olympics is always fun to watch. It was tough watching McIlroy absolutely bottle the US Open last night. Irish cricket team had an abysmal T20 World Cup campaign.
Euro 2024 soccer is on so will be watching some of that. No Irish interest their as we’re currently shite at soccer.
I’d say I’ve enough to keep me amused for the next few months.
CFL is great, I'm a Calgary Stampeders. we lost to the BC Lions a few days ago but was a great game, 50 cent performed b4 the game and there was 54, 000 there who h is pretty good for a regular season game
Las Vegas Aces. They on a bit of a skid rn but A’ja Wilson always fun to watch play. I’ll watch some baseball from time to time don’t really have a team at the moment tho.
Collingwood in Aussie Rules Football. You guys are missing out on the sheer athleticism of Aussie Footy. Plus, they are practically the Raiders of the AFL. Their colors are Black and White, and most of Australia hate them.
Watching my team England crash out in the Euros, then Wimbledon the Olympics and then watching the emotional rollercoaster of a season of being a Raiders and Wednesday fan
I'm from south-eastern Europe and a big part of why I fell in love with the Raiders in the first place was team I support since I was a kid - Partizan Belgrade.
Beside obvious black and white colors and being kind of notorious, the atmosphere in Oakland was the only one in NFL that reminded me of going to games here.
Check it out if you didn't, plus we had some amazing basketball players over the years -
[just a short glimpse](https://youtube.com/shorts/jNk1PcIPaZA?si=jiC7Mr8l-dfBTJvf)
Columbus Crew! I'm a lifelong Raider, which I inherited from my dad. But born and raised in Columbus Ohio, so truly enjoying the Crews' recent success.
Seattle Sounders (MLS soccer). Also currently watching the NHL playoffs (which might end tonight) and the European Championship (national soccer teams). Also played in a basketball tournament this weekend (went 5-2, finished 2nd place).
I watch the Cincinnati Reds, which is fun in spurts. Elly De La Cruz is a ton of fun when he’s not making an error that leads to a crucial run. The NL is down as a whole, so they’re still treading water.
Most years I watch a lot of disc golf but not a lot this year.
Dodgers and Euros (England). Wife is from English fam and they’ve all adopted Raiders as I then adopted West Ham United. Ravenous fan bases. I repped Raiders cap in west ham colors when I saw them out there. Mad respect back and forth. So I root for England when it comes to across the pond sports
I've gotten into Aussie Rules Football, it's an awesome sport to watch. Big hits, great athletes and those dudes are tough as nails. Way more action than Rugby.....
Go Magpies!!!
To make a long story short, my dad and my brother loved the Patriots when I was growing up. So naturally I rooted for them too. As I got more and more into football, I got tired of all the scandals and the cocky attitude of all the patriots fans. When I started looking at other teams I had learned a lot about Al and the history of the raiders that I fell in love. 🤷♂️
Springfield Isotopes
Avi checks out
sir, your beloved Isotopes are about to make history. any thoughts?
Uh-huh, it's a great team, Kent. We never gave up hope. I wanna thank Jesus and say hi to my special lady, Marge. We did it, baby! Whoo! Whooooo!
the inspiring words for a fan who will always root, ROOT, **ROOT** for the home team... even if they lose this game.
Is the rest of your username “the teeth”?
![gif](giphy|DFu7j1d1AQbaE)
Went to their game against the River Cats! Fun times.
"Hey, you gonna win some game this year?" "We'll try!"
Copa America is going to start soon but not expecting much from Mexico unfortunately lol
I feel it. I'm worried about the world cup. I honestly think that if it wasn't for the automatic qualification for being a host country, Mexico wouldn't have a good chance at making it.
Nah, with the new format, it's basically impossible for mexico and us to ever miss a World Cup again

>It’s extremely concerning times for Mexico national team. They have Obed Vargas now, so the future is bright! (Go Sounders!)
If you think Mexico sucks - watch the US play it is horrific. I have never seen less inspired soccer and I have watched that ass team for 30 years
to put things in perspective.. up until 2/3 years ago it would be insulting to compare us to the US. We wouldn’t even entertain the thought of holding ourselves to the same standard as the US. Now i truly believe we might be the 3rd best team in concacaf.
Euros and Copa América, Olympic soccer should be fun to watch too. WNBA having an interesting season too. F1 is always a solid watch as well.
2014 was the year. #noerapenal
Yeah, North American teams did not fare well against South America in recent matches
Grad school
Good luck.
My sibling is ADVANCING their education 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
No summer break? I'm in grad school but rlly loving this 3 months off
I teach so I have normal summer break, but I’m still taking classes. I got my masters last winter, but I’m taking the next step so I can get another raise and maybe land a superintendent job down the road. I’m also finishing my principal stuff and trying not to die.
Soccer, Euro and Copa America and then summer Olympics! This is a fantastic summer for sports, normally it’s quiet this time of year.
Stanley Cup Playoffs are a thrill ride. And I'd love to see a Canadian team finally break the curse, but they're down 3-1.
No wonder mentioned Oakland As lol. Still a fan even with the bs
I like alot of their players like Soderstrom, Gelof, and Ruiz but ownership pisses me off too much to watch regularly
not home grown but in addition to those you named, i also really like Rooker and ol BANGeliers
We're still here, but the team isn't very good or enjoyable to watch
it was fun to watch for a good stretch this year but that’s mostly come to end still way better than watching last year
It's still fun to go and tailgate, I'm going Sunday.

Grew up in New England. 🤷♂️
So how did you end up rooting for the Raiders? (Not hating, genuinely asking)
Can't hate on that story! The Raider Fandom cancels out the Celtics lol
Whoever is playing Caitlyn Clark.
She's a Chiefs fan, so for that reason I support this post
Yeah, I guess it's not well known amongst Raider Nation.
LAFC Dodgers
