They're the only ones who won, left their generational vindictive bullshittery and I like to believe they're just a sweet couple doing alright in Boston or wherever they ended up.
I don’t think any more survivors are going to come after them since Arthur killed most of, if not all of their relatives while escorting Beau and Penelope.
You underestimate how unhinged rednecks can be. My family has very extended family in Tennessee. Like havent had any contact in 2...TWO generations. I have never actually met a single person from that side of the family other then GreatGrandpa and Grandpa. Yet I still get letters every couple of years asking me to come meet the family. I don't even know how the fuck they know my address.
If Beau and Penelope are half as smart as they seem they will absolutely change thier names. High society is not a huge group at this point in America. High society gatherings all over after a few months would ve talking about that. Even if no family gets ahold of they will still have thst connection.
i just reached the part where arthur said hell took mary to the big city theatre and heckled the performers the whole time. i often get halfway through games, stop playing them for months and restart because i've forgotten it all lol
...is it even possible to spoil Romeo and Juliet? It's a century old classic bruh, it's not like there's more than a dozen people in the world that would actually care if they were spoiled the ending to Romeo and Juliet.
I was lukewarm about those quests, but getting to drive the train without any bounty was epic. So 5 out of 10 for the amount of emotional investment, but 10 out of 10 for the amount of fun with trains.
I had a situation where the ODriscolls were holding up a train, i shot a couple, everyone was either sitting there or just walking away, i had no bounty, the train was just there.... felt so free to just steam around the map for a bit
Right but I justify it I'm my headcannon as it's super probable that not every single Braithwaite was there when shit when down. So there's bound to be a few around doing all the ever knew tending the farm.
Nobody truly won. Beau and Penolpoe were able to break the cycle by not only betraying their families but moving away from Lemoyne. Ignore the gang, but this feud never would have ended. It would have been a never-ending feud that would forever hold back the county. The Van Der Linde gang really broke it, and here were the effects.
The gang wiped out the leaders of the Grey family which effectively collapsed the Grey's influence in town. Tavish Grey offed himself after the events of chapter 3 when he found out the truth about the family's heritage.
The gang effectively killed all of the Braithwates and burned down the mansion. Before the collapse, the family was in deep debt with Bronte. The criminal activity in the region took a major hit.
Scarlett Meadows was able to find peace as a new sheriff was elected and cleared the last of the family's influence in the county. While some Grey's remain, they most likely lost the manor. Meanwhile, the manor grounds became a town years later. Chapter 3 helped tame Scarlett Meadows for good.
They were scottish, just not the type of scottish they thought. They said they were jacobite descendents who escaped persecution in Scotland, but they actually were doing the persecution by selling off actual jacobites to the british government.
That's how they got the money to move to Lemoyne, and they spinned the tale of being jacobites to seem more likeable.
That’s actually pretty insane that one gang was able to take down two large plantation families that have massive influences on a local town. Impressive, most impressive.
I was about to say “technically the vanderlin gang won” since they pretty much destroyed both families. But then the law destroyed them. So. You right. The law won.
I still find it funny that in GTA V every score went successful but with RDR2 it was the direct opposite with everything ending in disaster after the train heist lol I guess we can call the valentine bank successful but after that not so much lol
The train heist was arguably what done them in too, beyond the law they made a far worse mistake the made enemies with the biggest capitalist in region. And an outlaw is just a capitalist without sufficient funds to start a business after all.
Well technically Hosea was Lester lol Dutch just wouldn’t listen to him. I feel like Dutch was a deranged version of Michael, Micah was Trevor And Arthur was Franklin
Trevor rampaged through all of Los Santos, Michael and Trevor terrorized Lazlow, there were shootouts all over the place.
That said, somehow Michael, Trevor, and Franklin were quieter and smarter than the Van der Linde Gang. Also, they had the government helping them to cover up some shit.
Not really. Tavish Gray survives, his wife too if she's alive. You can find him dead in the Epilog, just chilling on his porch. Penelope mentions some Braithwaites wanting to send her away or get rid of her, implying some remaining family still active. Though they may be the people you end up killing by the end of the mission in chapter 6.
If you drop by that area as >!John!< you’ll see her >!skeletal remains still in the outhouse. Penelope probably forgot about her the moment she boarded the train!<
Penelope was the only one feeding her. I imagine everyone working the plantation gave the outhouse a very wide berth and when Penelope left, she was forgotten about.
When I went there after finishing the game, the guards shooting at me weren't labeled as Braithwaites. So I guess that what was left of the Braithwaites sold the plantation to pay off their debt with Bronte
I’m still in chapter 4 just finishing up everything I can before things get difficult and I realized I never robbed the old hags corpse I went back and the guards shooting my still had the Braithwait label. I also go there to get Ox hides and other annoying uncommon domesticated animal hides. I’ll have definitely remember to go check on them as John.
I was for the grays. They didnt shoot you for coming by and I liked this lover guy. It was nice helping him and I honestly felt sad when we were supposed to torch the tobacco fields. The Braithwaites honestly just fucked up. Grays did kill Sean but by kidnapping Jack, the Braithwaites decided to go instinct. Every now and then I visit them and waste some deadeye. It’s funny how when people loose legs or arms they count as dead, although they still I scream, cry and move. They should’ve made it count as bleeding out, where i can still finish them.
I’d say the one who truly lost was the girl in the outhouse on the Braithwate property. But Penelope and Beau truly won. Also, I’d say Arthur finding the gold bar and her broach after the manor burned down is also a win. It ain’t a pot full of gold, but there was gold after all.
I'd say the Gray's, they owned most of the town, they're richer legally, and they outlasted the main body of Braithwaites in Rhodes. They're only still around because of some cousins, I think, and also because of Penelope, who runs away.
I think neither side won. The family basically lost their whole heritage and possibly almost all their money along with their most important home and I feel like the gang began splitting up at this moment as well
Well all the Braithwaites are dead aren't they? So I'm guessing the grays but the only true winners from either family were beau and Penelope. I wish we got some indication of how they're doing in Boston when playing as John but they probably change their name and cut all their contacts so I understand why there wasn't anything.
No one. In fueds like that everyone loses. Folks will list the couple that fled and... Having cut out my family for being shit? You still lose. Just less. Being safe is worth it but this is a tragedy
Both bow and Penelope when if we're talking about happiness every time what family survives the grays but at the end of the day they're all losers to some extent even the gang with maybe lemoine itself and Scarlett Meadows winning in a sense of they're no longer being a family feud in the area and new law enforcement finally coming to power
I think the Grays came out ever so slightly ahead since their house wasn’t burned down. The Grays and Braithwaites both had a lot of their people shot, but the Braithwaites might not have the money to rebuild as nice of a house
No one really won, but if you're basing off who is still standing, the Greys. We burn down Braithwaite and kill their leader, along with all their other operations being taken down, such as the moonshine operation. The Greys' building still stands, and so does their family.
The grays got off a bit lighter than the Braithwaites even with Arthur killing a lot while escorting Penelope and the other guy (idk how to spell his name) they kept they're house and most of the family while the gang burned the Braithwaites house to the ground essentially killed Catherine killed most if not all of her sons and ended they're bloodline
The Van Der Lindes with all FAITH, TAHIDI AND MANGOES! with the resilient man himself Uncle (who suffers from lumbago which is a long and painful death, brother)
Penelope and Beau ❤️
They're the only ones who won, left their generational vindictive bullshittery and I like to believe they're just a sweet couple doing alright in Boston or wherever they ended up.
They probably changed last name entirely too avoid any Survivors
I don’t think any more survivors are going to come after them since Arthur killed most of, if not all of their relatives while escorting Beau and Penelope.
What’s with all these godamn cousins!
“Well I…killed some of your relatives but they would’ve killed all of us.”
"More men? MORE MEN?!"
They have farms for cousins not animals and plants
You underestimate how unhinged rednecks can be. My family has very extended family in Tennessee. Like havent had any contact in 2...TWO generations. I have never actually met a single person from that side of the family other then GreatGrandpa and Grandpa. Yet I still get letters every couple of years asking me to come meet the family. Last I heard, they're going by De Santa.
And there moving to north to the yanktons
That’s clever!!!
Not in witness protection though
And got away with that braithwaite treasure
I dont think it is specifically confirmed, but it's probably true since the Braithwaite cousins were literally dying to get it back.
Yeah, plus it seems likely that Penelope woulda snatched more than just the bracelet for some sort of funds
Pure Romeo and Juliet, although juliet is 14 in Shakespeares version so i'm not for it
Well yeah, that and the whole suicide thing as well 🙄
he... dies?
No
oh ok
In today's episode of Outblacklunged by the main sub
Is it really outblacklunging if they do once what we do on a daily basis
Sorry, guess I should have added a spoiler alert 🤷🏼
Yes, Romeo dies. Juliet too.
Sir didn’t even give a spoiler warning for a 400 year old play
I’m just here to fuck shit up.
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtyFLnvoSCk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtyFLnvoSCk) you are psychic my friend
I must not have got to that part yet lol
Have you at least reached the part where Juliet sings Lovefool?
i just reached the part where arthur said hell took mary to the big city theatre and heckled the performers the whole time. i often get halfway through games, stop playing them for months and restart because i've forgotten it all lol
nah but i reached the part where she sings Love Shack
Spoiler tags please. Thanks. (For Romeo and Juliet)
Nah he's bullshitting you can actually escort them to the train station near Strawberry in a later sidemission and they start a new life in Boston
They meant spoilers for Romeo and Juliet lol
...is it even possible to spoil Romeo and Juliet? It's a century old classic bruh, it's not like there's more than a dozen people in the world that would actually care if they were spoiled the ending to Romeo and Juliet.
...they were joking.
I'm unable to identify jokes...
no worries, I've seen people getting upset over spoilers in LOTR - only to promptly be told to fuck off since it's a +50 year old story at this point.
honestly at this day and age you can't fucking tell
“Century old classic” Bro is posting from 1697.
What, it hasn't been that long right? Why, I even got an autograph for it back then.
Did you get to see the witch trials?
Fr. Just like any good movie, when it’s like 10 years out already. It should be common knowledge that McQueen looses the Grand Prix Cup
You can, i feel asleep in english studying the chat gpt-1 stuff
That’s the joke
I'm pretty sure they were both kids
in that era they were already middle aged people. lol
i mean you can’t blame shakespeare, different times and it was normal back when the life expectancy was like 50 lol
It wasn't cool even back then and was likely part of why he wrote her as 13. It was intentionally upsetting.
Shakespeare is totally getting cancelled on Twitter, hos career is so over!!!
Twitter cancels itself lol
I was lukewarm about those quests, but getting to drive the train without any bounty was epic. So 5 out of 10 for the amount of emotional investment, but 10 out of 10 for the amount of fun with trains.

One of my favourite random encounters
Definitely they got away with what meant most to them. They didn't care about money or which family was better they just cared about each other.
Felt good helping them
Wish they would've expanded their storyline
The Grays, they still have all of their buildings. Braithwaite, the property included, just wasted away.
And they still have half their fields
And if you return there are a few Braithwaite wandering around that'll shoot you
Which I feel like is just something that the devs overlooked
Right but I justify it I'm my headcannon as it's super probable that not every single Braithwaite was there when shit when down. So there's bound to be a few around doing all the ever knew tending the farm.
Right, and if they still have crop and animals they’re still making money too, it’s not like they NEED a giant mansion lol build their ass a shed
They built their sister a shed off to the side a ways... I think she likes it.
She never leaves so she must love it.
Go back and loot the body of the lady
Nobody truly won. Beau and Penolpoe were able to break the cycle by not only betraying their families but moving away from Lemoyne. Ignore the gang, but this feud never would have ended. sooo, the gang kinda had positive influence?
It got some stress out of Beau and Penelope's backs at the very least
Beau for sure got some stress off Penelope's back
Type shi

What was the truth of the family heritage? No gold?
He kills himself because he discovers his family isn’t Scottish lol
They were scottish, just not the type of scottish they thought. They said they were jacobite descendents who escaped persecution in Scotland, but they actually were doing the persecution by selling off actual jacobites to the british government. That's how they got the money to move to Lemoyne, and they spinned the tale of being jacobites to seem more likeable.
Massive Outlaw W
If you go somewhere in the swamp (I forget where), there's a chest hanging out by a tree. It has a letter telling you the truth about the gold.
Not the swamp, the islands
Aren't the little islands in the swamp?
No the islands in flat iron lake
That’s actually pretty insane that one gang was able to take down two large plantation families that have massive influences on a local town. Impressive, most impressive.
Technically the law won
I was about to say “technically the vanderlin gang won” since they pretty much destroyed both families. But then the law destroyed them. So. You right. The law won.
I fought the law and the law won
I still find it funny that in GTA V every score went successful but with RDR2 it was the direct opposite with everything ending in disaster after the train heist lol I guess we can call the valentine bank successful but after that not so much lol
The train heist was arguably what done them in too, beyond the law they made a far worse mistake the made enemies with the biggest capitalist in region. And an outlaw is just a capitalist without sufficient funds to start a business after all.
Agreed lol. I guess we can make the train heist the equivalent of the merryweather score. I mean did Arthur ever get paid after they sold those bonds?
Van der Linde gang if it had Lester:📈📈📈📈📈
Well technically Hosea was Lester lol Dutch just wouldn’t listen to him. I feel like Dutch was a deranged version of Michael, Micah was Trevor And Arthur was Franklin
Comparing Trevor to that rat Micah? I think he'd be less angry if you called him a motherfucker.
Still both go on killing sprees
What about the Merryweather heist though?
I mentioned that was the only failed one but that was just because Lester stopped them. It actually was a success
Technically GTA’s entire story happened because of a score gone wrong
Yeah I know that.
And it was really only 3 of them if you don’t count the people they recruited
robbing people with a, six gun
Basically the moral of both games.
Great music reference
is this meant to reference the song or the mission
Both
So the grays won the sheriff was a gray so
Except we killed Sheriff Gray.
It’s such a shame Caliga Hall doesn’t have an interior
I'm pretty sure that Beau and Penelope are the only Grey and Braithwaite left alive
Tavish Gray can off himself as early as completing A Short Walk in a Pretty Town if you go there before the Braithwaite mansion mission.
Kinda messed up the Gray’s leave his rotting corpse on his porch for 8 years straight
what ever happened to Penelope’s sister that they kept in the outhouse?
If you drop by that area as >!John!< you’ll see her >!skeletal remains still in the outhouse. Penelope probably forgot about her the moment she boarded the train!<
Visit her again after u finish the game
if you ride her to the outhouse when you do the mission with her and beau she will talk about her sister and how she was the only one feeding her.
I’ll remember to do that then. I’m on my second playthrough right now. Love these cool details!
I mean, based on your definition of 'alive', there's a zombie Braithwaite chilling round Blackwater in Undead Nightmare haha
Nobody wins when the family fueds
The girl with the hairlip chained up in the outhouse.
Think she ends up starving to death. Kind of weird because outside of the big house their plantation still operates as usual.

I think the family who wasn't all fucking murders and had their manor burnt down ultimately won
I mean... the Van Der Linde gang won.
Van der linde gang is actually the real loser of the feud. All of this eventually lead Milton straight to Hosea and got him killed
And to the Grays killing Sean, but families got literally wiped out
steve harvey
“STEVE… it’s almost time!”
No one won.
The Grey's. At least some of them lived.
Family feud is their sexual life.
LENNNNEEHHH!!
I think that lady who burned to bits in the house won
I was for the grays. They didnt shoot you for coming by and I liked this lover guy. It was nice helping him and I honestly felt sad when we were supposed to torch the tobacco fields. The Braithwaites honestly just fucked up. Grays did kill Sean but by kidnapping Jack, the Braithwaites decided to go instinct. Every now and then I visit them and waste some deadeye. Jesus Christ
I think the Gray's because also the braithwaites Manor got burned ashes and chars
I’d say the one who truly lost was the girl in the outhouse on the Braithwate property. But Penelope and Beau truly won. Also, I’d say Arthur finding the gold bar and her broach after the manor burned down is also a win. It ain’t a pot full of gold, but there was gold after all.
The Braithwaites sure as shit lost, but that doesn't mean the Grays won.
The Grays still have a house.
I'd say the Gray's, they owned most of the town, they're richer legally, and they outlasted the main body of Braithwaites in Rhodes. They're only still around because of some cousins, I think, and also because of Penelope, who runs away.
Meet n fuck kingdom Steve
Nobody won. That was the point. Even Penelope and Beau were traumatized.
The Grays. They survived the Van der linde gang longer than the braithwaites.
The Van Der Linde gang won
The Vanderlins....
Despite my best efforts to the contrary…..it seems I have won.
The law won
Just like the Hatfields and McCoys, there's no winners in a feud like that.
the grays were massacred but they were still standing. can't say the same for the braithwaites
They both lost (Except for penelope and beau)
Steve
The one locked away in the outhouse
i dont know Steve Harvey was too distracting. Naked *HUH* had me rolling
who wins tonight's episode of family feud?
I mean considering that the braithwaite manor got fucking burnt to a crisp I think the grays won
How is this even an argument, one of those manors is not standing anymore.
Neither. It was a self-destructive war that brought down both families.
Neither
No one. In fueds like that everyone loses. Folks will list the couple that fled and... Having cut out my family for being shit? You still lose. Just less. Being safe is worth it but this is a tragedy
What family died in a fire again? The Braithwaites? Yeah fuck dem guys.
Idk i just want the grays dead cause they murked my boy Sean
Dutch won
Well, they're both effectively wiped out, so...the city?
I mean the braithwaites had their whole mansion burned down lol
The Grays without a doubt! The Braithwaite property was basically burnt to ashes along with the family leader.
Well technically the Grays house is still standing and old man gray is still alive and kicking so I’d say the Grays.
Well I mean the Grays are the only ones that are still standing.
Both of them won
The Vander Linde Family
the town of scarlet meadows won, they kicked out the incompetent sheriff and got rid of the criminal family of braithwaith.
Arthur, when he gets the gold bar.
Who's still alive?
The van der linde gang
Definitely the grays since the Braithwaites hardly even exist anymore
Steve Harvey
Which episode/season was this I don’t remember this one
Commenting to save for later
Neither. You have any idea what the upkeep cost on houses and property like that is? Bah gawd
Well... it weren't them Braithewaites.
The Grey's. They still have a house
Istg why all these house look the same to me. Even Shady Belle look like that
The grays got off a bit lighter than the Braithwaites even with Arthur killing a lot while escorting Penelope and the other guy (idk how to spell his name) they kept they're house and most of the family while the gang burned the Braithwaites house to the ground essentially killed Catherine killed most if not all of her sons and ended they're bloodline
the gray and braithwaite who ran away in 1805 and took all the treasure with them and started the rumour about stolen gold
I would say those damn Grey's as we did not burn their house down and kill the head of the family.
The In-Bred Retelling of Romeo and Juliet, Beau and Penelope
Theyre all pretty much dead if i remember right
The Van Der Lindes with all FAITH, TAHIDI AND MANGOES! with the resilient man himself Uncle (who suffers from lumbago which is a long and painful death, brother)
The one not burned. Lol. He died on his own terms from disappointment.
The one not burned. Lol. He died on his own terms from disappointment.
Braithwaites died without any fame, grays died known as law men. Yeah, they both died but I feel grays won the reputation victory
Neither. They all died 🤣
The Braithwates did
