If the epilogue wasn’t linked to the first game, I personally would have preferred play as Sadie (including Arthur’s last mission being helping her to scape in the mountain).
Bur John’s arch was good still, and showed his attempt to live a normal and honest life (and how by failing to do it he condenm himself), and because of this I don’t complain about not focusing that much on her…

So thanks to this guy pulling an Arthur and using his last days to make life a little easier on those around him, the US government was paying Civil War pensions all the way to the year 2020.
It seems a bit skeptical considering the life expectancy was (i did a bit of research) 39.4 in 1860, 1899 would roughly be around a higher number
Also, Black Belle is clearly around Dutchs age...

Life expectancy at birth. Once someone got into their 20’s they could expect a fairly lengthy life. Unless something happens to skew that, then you have to add in the 117,000 late teens and 20 somethings killed in WW1.
If Arthur and Sadie had gotten hitched granted they would have been happy for a while but how short how bittersweet it would have been because as we all well know Arthur Morgan was stricken with tuberculosis I don't know if Sadie ever wound up wearing black for her lost Jake but she certainly would have wore weeds for Arthur.

I don’t think so, I remember trying to shoot her after she rides off and the reticle is greyed out and you can’t fire when aiming at her.
