Once I started to see the downvotes I realised that maybe people don't actually know the boom roasted is an office reference, they just blindly recycled the phrase once it made it to the internet lol
I was kinda hoping it would bring memories of Stanley's laugh after coz it's great
The corpos sure are…Believe me as a 20 yr United fan from the states we hate the bastards too. They epitomize the approach every American corporation take it seems, profits over everything. I’ve been to Old Trafford, I love this club, and trust me, I’m more ashamed of how the owners have done over the fans as an American. United has a broad fan base across the globe, we are not all represented by the worst of any of our countrymen. If you think this is bad, the corporate class and politicians have done what the Glazers have to United, but to our entire fucking country lol. We want the same changes, the only way we get them here and there is through togetherness, to stay United as fans, as non billionaires haha.
Much Love, from the states
❤️GGMU
Adam Crafton, while doing good things during the Greenwood saga, has a hateboner for United. Just listen to him on the Athletic Football Podcast he’s always seething when it comes to us
His work with the LGBT community in Qatar in the build-up to the world cup was decent as well tbf but apart from that he's just relentless with his negativity. Tbh it's not just about Utd, he's like it with everything. Guy gets paid to to talk about a game you'd think he'd be able to dig up some positivity once in a while.
Utd are so shoddy in who they outsource hospitality and security work that one day its going to catch up with them . Even with the crackdown on dodgy sia courses.
Nah its more the fact the companies Utd outsource to will hire literally anyone , my dad is 5 foot 3 stick thin and just recently had a heart attack yet they had no problem letting him do a stewarding job and helped him get a sia license
Stewarding is all old white people, my mum is head of the north stand lol.
All the security and hospitality are young black kids.
Not even really making a point just something I’ve observed
When I worked at old Trafford most of the match day staff actually worked for United and at the time the pay was minimum wage but the 25+ so as a 18/19 year old getting £10.50 an hour felt much better than the 6.80 or whatever it was at like JD
Because people from Stretford/old Trafford would want better pay and conditions for working, would be my guess. Why does any company hire loads of immigrants for low pay jobs?
Talk Sport article coming soon: Eric ten Hag's Manchester United POISON FANS. United boss hits back "We make f---ing good chicken, eh?"
Gabby Agbonlahor DISGUSTED, Paul Ince "This would never happen under Sir Alex. NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS." Read our professional pundits opinions here.
Just to be sure, is it undercooked chicken or raw chicken?
Nevermind the serving but how does anyone eat raw chicken???
Reporters these days are sometimes laughable.
Adam Crafting circles like a vulture looking for anything negative to broadcast about United no matter how major or minor. This is such a nothing story he's trying to blow into something big. Truly a scum journalist.
Raw chicken is bad enough in general, let alone at an event run by a large company. Salmonella is a very serious thing and any company failing at such a basic thing should deservedly get called out.
He's actually a United fan.
I also think he's a very good journalist, and would be pretty bad at his job if he just sat on info in the public interest because it might upset LazloTheStrange.
> He's actually a United fan.
So he claims
> I also think he's a very good journalist, and would be pretty bad at his job if he just sat on info in the public interest because it might upset LazloTheStrange
Yeah except thats not what I said nor is it my complaint. Nice strawman though, have you considered working for the Athletic? I have a problem with how he manipulated and presented that information, not that he published it.
He took a potential plan that the club wrote up, told everyone that they had made up their mind to do it (just based on his word, no evidence), twisted it the worst way possible (Domestic Violence Charities were labelled as hostile to his return, Crafton twisted it to United calling them hostile), then kept twisting the knife with it until he got what he wanted. This isn't even about wanting Greenwood to stay or not, it's about how he manipulated information to portray the club in the worst light possible for clicks and to build up a media storm against them.
People were so irate about the possibility of Greenwood coming back that they became blinded to what was actually being said and how Crafton was manipulating the situation. I'm glad Greenwood is on loan at Getafe and not playing for the club, it doesn't change that I dislike how Crafton went about his work.
Even now why is he trying to turn a case of food poisoning into a big story? Show me a restaurant or caterer that never had one?
I think it’s a fair critique. Many journalists have a tendency of not just reporting the information but also interpreting it at the same time often skewed towards the most sensational interpretation of events. This isn’t exclusive to Cranston or even football journalism, but I do think it is part of the reason so many people do not trust journalists as a whole.
None of this is me endorsing Greenwood returning to the club before anyone claims that. I don’t think he should play for the club again.
Proper embarrassing that you can't read criticism of someone you like without throwing a wobbler and projecting that someone else "has their panties in a bunch" instead of yourself.
This entire fanbase has such a ridiculous siege mentality. If this happened I don’t see why a journalist who typically covers what’s going on with the club shouldn’t report it.
Oh right the fans are still made Crafton reported ETH wanted Greenwood back and rather than face the music it’s easier to blame the journalist.
Lol get personal there kid did I trigger you? The levels the athletic will sink to for clicks, go simp for them if you want to. How is the hygiene at other clubs? The media thrives on negativity around our club and any minor, non football related matter is jumped on now to the point of boredom. Look, its obvious you haven't been following the club very long if you are frustrated by this as its not how it used to be, so I understand but I would recommend learning some respect. Good lad.
We serve chicken?
Thought it was just shitty miscellaneous meat hotdogs and the most basic pies you’ve ever seen.
No doubt it’s the prawn sandwich brigade
Why si my first reaction basically 'oh ffs ofc food poisoning would happen its no surprise'
The standards are awful hopefully SJR can do something. Fucking Glazers.
IF the owners cut corners to maximise profits why should the lower downs.ITs jut money for those leeches.
>United internally investigating
The club's euphemism for "investigating how they can suppress the bad press and avoid responsibility without spending a penny". So it's going to create a small shit storm followed by the club doubling down before making a half arsed apology
IT'S FUCKING RAW
Yeah, next on kitchen nightmares the old trafford episode
Can we fast forward to when Gordon yells at the Glazers? "YOU FUCKING DONKEYS!!! OUT!!!! YOU.. YOU..YOU.. GET OUT!!!!"
Had it been hell's kitchen, the red team dropping a stinker against the blue team would hit too close to home
![gif](giphy|ftdB6XY9fSYdxBTm3w)
If you think the chicken is bad, you should see the football
boom roasted!
Unlike the chicken
You crush your wife during sex and your chicken sucks boom roasted
Sad to see this being downvoted. Perfectly acceptable Office reference.
Once I started to see the downvotes I realised that maybe people don't actually know the boom roasted is an office reference, they just blindly recycled the phrase once it made it to the internet lol I was kinda hoping it would bring memories of Stanley's laugh after coz it's great
Unable to cook on and off the field
LMAO
You won't sing that!
Chicken is the only thing in the stadium that *isn’t* cooked
Ahh my fav comment of the month, well done, unlike the chicken
Gold
My man
Can't discribe how much I would like to eat BBQ chicken right now, that's rude from you bro
Turns out ETH was not cooking
That bald fraud

I came in here specifically hoping Patrice would be in the comments. Thanks. This should be higher. I love this game.

Fowl play
So the chicken was raw and they ate it? Or they got sick and suspect it was raw chicken?
Probably they're too rich to know how regular chicken taste, so they thought it's some fancy posh dish and they fucking ate it like savages lol.
What poor ownership does to a club. American ownership has drained the club or resources , massive debt , failing infra. Yanks are leeches

Well said, have an upvote.
The guests were said to have been enjoying a succulent chicken based meal
Ah, I see you know your judo well!
Get your hand off my penis!
Just like our football and our biscuits: limp.
ETH forgot to cook
No other club would have this reported lol. Amazing what stories are published for clicks

He's literally a United fan lol of course he's seething look at our results
He’s a Man Utd fan mate
I definitely think he’s clashing heads with the staff after the Greenwood fiasco - he probably lost a lot of access
Liverpool have a serving of rat stew usually though but it’s probably covered up.
Utd are so shoddy in who they outsource hospitality and security work that one day its going to catch up with them . Even with the crackdown on dodgy sia courses.
Literally nothing but African students, it’s weird.
Not even really making a point just something I’ve observed
what?
The hospitality staff at United are all young African students.
Why is that relevant though? Why does them being african have anything to do with poor hospitality
Young African students means they must be underpaid as is the case with many immigrant workers.
When I worked at old Trafford most of the match day staff actually worked for United and at the time the pay was minimum wage but the 25+ so as a 18/19 year old getting £10.50 an hour felt much better than the 6.80 or whatever it was at like JD

They ran out of players to injure, so now they've moved onto the guests.
The chicken was raw but they still ate it anyway,am I missing something?
Solid sub $$$ at work for The Athletic.
Just to be sure, is it undercooked chicken or raw chicken? Nevermind the serving but how does anyone eat raw chicken??? Reporters these days are sometimes laughable.
Unfortunatelly we fans at home don't have to eat from that chicken to feel sick.
These "journalists" are really scraping the barrel now, blowing everything out of proportion. Scum.
How could Andre Onana do this?
He tried to catch the meat thermometer but dropped it maybe.
If they knew it was raw, why did they eat it? Or were they shoveling it in their face as fast as they could without looking? I'm confused....
"Erik how do you want the chicken?" "Clear, eh."
10 points deduction i guess 😂
Watch us get a 10 point deduction for uncooked chicken and city only get a slap on the wrist for their cooked books
How could Onana do this!??
How do you fuck up this badly
Ronaldo was right about the culinary staff after all.
No no no, they became sick on account of the football.

Strangest take on Crafton I’ve ever read
[удалено]
Ok and? I'm not wrong.
I mean you’re giving your reading of the situation so I’m not going to argue true or false, just seems a little anti-journalism in general
Anti bad journalist, I have no problem with the ones who aren't manipulative and conniving

I respect Crafton but there're stories worth reporting then there's this
Why is this not worth reporting?
Incident FC
Shit! Ten point deduction incoming...
Fuck off Crafton
Why? Mate, salmonella is no joke, people can die from it

There’s a weird element who took his coverage of the Greenwood stuff very badly, and get super pissy with him as a result.
🤨🤨🤨
Because it’s not what you want to hear? What an incredibly pouty and pathetic response. By the way, Santa isn’t real either.

How is this even a story?
Boring news.
Overcooked chicken would’ve been a better metaphor for our season given our over-long preseason, but I can go with undercooked.
Only thing getting cooked at Old Trafford are our center backs.
That chicken took longer to prepare than our defence.
That explains the evra video, got him hooked on the stuff when he was here.
Reminds me of a story I heard about Evra playing with a raw chicken cutlet in his boot to help with foot pain. Unrelated… or maybe not
But we're usually such a well run establishment in all senses!
Undercook chicken believe it or not. Points deduction
We serve chicken? Thought it was just shitty miscellaneous meat hotdogs and the most basic pies you’ve ever seen. No doubt it’s the prawn sandwich brigade
Is this what they meant when they said let Ten Hag cook

Why didn't they stop eating it if they could see it was raw?
Not just the football this season causing the puking… 🤢 🤮
Desperately need a new chef in January
Should've stuck to the prawn sandwiches!

So in other words, he appears every week this season..
Never a boring day at Manchester United Football Club
We have a butcher but not a cook.
