Not really. Our team leaves a donut hole in midfield due to tactics. I’d have preferred awb on the right to at least offer a tiny bit more solidity for defence. We’re that shit tactically that I wouldn’t go all for attacking without extra help to make it more stable at the back really.
Eth’s setup allows any team to look good so I would’ve picked a slightly more natural setup for defending to hopefully help.

We then went unbeaten through all of the 2020/21 season (19 matches) with no fans.
Fans then returned, and we went unbeaten against Southampton, Wolves, and West Ham (3 games) before getting spanked by Leicester.
2+5+19+3 = 29 away games unbeaten, 24 of which were in empty stadiums.
We have seen so many 2+ goal leads being dropped by so many variations of this team, I am not sure how much you can really blame the weakness on players over the tactical approach.
Early on we had pressure in their half and prevented counters with a high press. Then slowly Coventry started playing through that press as players tired, and yet Ten Hag made no changes to the shape with his subs at 3-0, and again at 3-1. There was no defensive structure between the high press and the low block for the last 50 minutes of this game, its been the problem all season.
Most of those players showed there level today, disgusting from most to switch off and not kill the game, ETH is completely inept tactically and it’s becoming pathetic to watch for fast this team buckles, Wembley incoming and another beating by city, and then another lengthy interview from Erik with all of his excuses
