So this isn't intended as a pro- or anti- ETH comment, but I think these highlights go in the negative column when evaluating ETH...we clearly have talented players that can score specular goals, but we lack a system to score routine ones more frequently. Individual Brilliance FC and all that.
Don't see why this should have a bunch of downvotes. It's at least partially true. You can't constantly slag off the players and say they're all shit and need replacing while they score these kinds of goals. They don't do it consistently, for sure, but that's also the job of a manager.
Some great goals! Despite how bad some of the performances were this season, I feel extreme fondness for the teamā¦ and Tbf I enjoyed the highs of this season more than I have for years.. FA cup final day was so special.. just hit me differently than any achievement post SAF

It was because of how shit we were all season, there was no real underpeformers bar us the bottom 3/top 4 finished where they shouldāve, mid table was about right & Chelsea/Newcastle managed to finish above us. We were the laughing stock all season & nobody gave us a chance for the final, Carragher even said on the overlap that the fans didnāt believe we could win & itās partly true we all hoped but not sure if we actually believed it ourselves. Beating City with two teenagers who have often been one of our only bright spots this season scoring the goals was special I watched it again with a few drinks in me that evening & was getting emotional it was a shit season finished off in fantastic style.
We were not the laughing stock all season, Chelsea were for most of it until...we played them at Stamford Bridge. I'd say if it weren't for Chelsea we'd have been even more hammered by the media, rival fans etc in the first half of the season (and that's saying something).
The FA Cup win really did save our season and I'm glad for ETH because the criticism was totally unfair anyway.
