I honestly don't see Darrow surviving this series. I think he'll eventually make the ultimate sacrifice to atone for his mounting guilt ( hopefully by saving a large number of people..or a world).

That would be an amazing call back. Personally though, I doubt it’ll be as straightforward a climax as Darrow and Lysander having a razor duel to the death.
