I've always said that it makes the most sense to assume any online anecdotes that are purely text are untrue unless evidence is provided. The one exception is the "photos of something written that was left somewhere" since it's literally the same thing
My buddy’s mom had her address and phone number published on a handful of crazy right wing websites because of her work as a librarian. She never got any physical mail but got several threatening voicemails. People out there are nuts.
Yea, idk about this post exactly but it's not impossible. I grew up in Maga land and the family of a high school friend (Mexican American) got a threatening letter in their mailbox one time, "this land is for white Americans, get the fuck out of here and go back to Mexico" type shit.
Obviously the vast majority of trump voters would never do something like that. But it happens. It would only take one crazy who has dedicated himself to sending out notes like this to harass like dozens and dozens of people

I have this theory that the people who do this are often old and in early stages of dementia. This kind of aggro is very typical of boomers who's already lead poisoned brains are going.
Why do death threats matter at all to anyone? Even if this shit is real if they wanted to kill you they would just kill you, they wouldn't threaten to kill you.
I mean on one hand, yes. On the other hand, that's a lot easier to say when you're not the one getting threats.
Would I be genuinely scared for my life if I were getting death threats? No not really, but it would probably be a nagging anxiety of "well what if tho?? People are crazy so maybe...????" At the back of my mind while trying to go to sleep
