My brother had one in the mid 2000s as a work vehicle and it was fast as fuck. He took me to his work one day and lit up the tires on bare pavement quicker than I've seen a drag car do with some water.
As a single dude with no kids, I'd definitely buy a Sienna if I were to get a van
Can someone explain why SUVs are so necessary for people with kids? It seems like society wide gas lighting to me. People got by with sedans and had bigger families in the middle of the 20th century.
*You can pinpoint the*
*Exact moment she got kids*
*And when they moved out*

That Gen of 5 series was a seriously fun car to drive. My dad had one in champagne when I was a teen. Was smooth as silk at dangerous highway speeds. Was great until the water pump failed, overheated and cracked a block cuz my mom didn’t know what to do when the car starts to blow steam. After that it was plagued with nightmare levels of issues and the small shop they took to made bank off of hard to diagnose problems. Traded it in for a civic EX and they never bought another German made car again.
Edit* that might be a 3 series? We also had one of those in white but that was mom’s first. It rusted real bad. Sold it back to a dealer for a lot of money after cash for clunkers spiked used car prices.
Ok yeah ours was a 98 528i. Was an excellent car for the time. It felt like a next level of quality compared to their jeep grand Cherokee and my Nissan Sentra at the time.
After her 3 cool-car streak was broken by 3 adult cars, she decided to get back into the cool-car business.
If you look closely, you can see the exact moment her children were born, and also the exact moment her children turned 18
Spot on.
LOL it's so true
Your mom is badass
Toyota Sienna jump scare
Probably felt the same way irl when you're just going about your life and you suddenly need a sienna
Honestly if it's gotta be a minivan, make it a Sienna.

this made me wheeze uncontrollably
Is your mom single?
She traded a BMW 3 series in for a baby blue minivan? I’d have been like, “Just kill me now, dude.”
That’s when OP was born. We need to shame OP for ruining mom’s cool car streak. What a lil shit OP is.
Friend's mom had an E36 M3 and sold it when he was born, he feels about the same
HANG THAT gamer NOW! I'VE GOT THE ROPE RIGHT HERE!
Totally. My dad had an e36 M3 which was sold for a Toyota as well. (Mind you it was a Land Cruiser so no hate)
You’ve obviously never had kids

When you have two kids and those kids have lots of friends over all the time there’s something to be said about the convenience of a car which fits 8.
That is E39.
That's a 5 series, dude
Honestly, being a 5 series makes it even worse. That’s a great family car!
Probably got it when they had 1, maybe 2, kids, it was the next kid that made her get the sienna
Thats an e39 M5 in the picture
HS - college - first job - married - baby(s) - soccer mom - milf edit: kids - soccer mom (accuracy)
Bwahaha this takes the cake

She knows how to party and get shit done.
She’s fun yet responsible
She had a fucking FD. Based.
Can I have some money too?
She is very cool and born in the 70s
She loved the 60s and 70s?
In later years she has an ongoing love affair with “zee Germans”.
I think this is an amazing life story told by cars. Good for y’all.
Your mom is dope

‘00 528i. Her favorite car she’s ever owned. She sold it when she got pregnant because it was uncomfortable to get down low into it.

Your mom is a gangster
What’s that first one?
Accord :)
How the fuck do you go from an e39 to a sienna?
Kids.
Idk, but is she single?
