Man, it really seems that way! Mine didn’t diagnose the cooling problems with my attic hvac in the summer, and instead just put freon in it (an expensive bandaid “fix”!). Well, after so many months of it likely being dirty, clogged and leaking water, it leaked over this winter and damaged my ceiling. Thing is, even if that hadn’t happened, would they have just put more Freon in it this next summer when I run into the same issue?! They said they’re going to tear out and replace the ceiling (it got that bad), but I’m so fed up with them I am actually gonna move and not renew my lease. :/
