New to the neighborhood, the other day on Onderdonk two runners, a guy and girl, came by as I turned a corner walking.
The guy who had at least two feet of space from me looked at me like I was gonna crash into him, and the girl turned back to yell “watch where you’re going.” There was a zero percent chance I bumped into either of them.
Not sure if it’s related, didn’t notice a chicken wing arm out there - but rude people.
>be me
>death grips in AirPods
>hokas on
>jog time bitches
>start at what I think is average pace
>realize I’m making GAINZ
>can’t stop power levels from going up
>over9000.jpg
>collide with chad and Stacy crossing the street
>Chad spergs at me
mfw
Unrelated, but it’s about running, is a green text, and always makes me laugh;

i’ve seen him in the ridgewood runners group. that entire idiotic crew ran through the crowded Valentino Shopping corner, narrowly avoiding women and children.
I don't know what makes sense. Either two people walking slowing on the sidewalk side by side has to yield for the RUNNER, or the runner has to yield for the slow walkers. sometimes I walk fast to go somewhere and I have to slow down for a family of 4 ahead of me walking nice a slow taking up the whole sidewalk.
If you’re running, you yield to the people walking. I get stuck behind people walking slowly all over NYC - let alone a quieter neighborhood like this.
This is head a on passing, the runner absolutely is expected to go around a group of people walking on the sidewalk or crosswalk.
A sidewalk is a shared space in a community, not a Squid Game of efficiency where you get ranked based on how fast you go. Everyone gets blocked by slow people. Just go around them.

A pocket full of marbles might remedy the situation.

If it’s the guy I’m thinking of I checked him a few times. Maybe he didn’t learn his lesson
he gonna end up on the ground soon with that attitude
report his runs on strava and knock him down a peg

I love the ridgewood runners but idk why they insist on running the most populated roads in the neighborhood lol
Dude should run in the street if this is the attitude. Hop in a bike-lane, bro.
Yes, Is this by the park and supermarket?
