Roblox points were used as an achievement system on games, but were removed. These points could be showed on a game leaderboard to show how much a player have played or how much they have made it through the game. Many players were greedy and thought Points were gonna be useful in the future and grinded or use cheats to get them. So roblox removed it fully. Some old games or scripts still have these points that are useless.

Roblox never moderated *how* you received them, so you could literally just publish a game in like 5 mins on your account that just gave you billions of player points. They were a neat idea in theory, but lack of moderation for giving caused their downfall, ultimately leading to them being meaningless. Edit: Not to mention, there wasn't any sort of standard either. One game could give you 10 player points for achieving something, where others (like OP posted in the image) could give 3250 player points for a similar difficulty achievement. This caused some games to get played more simply because they had higher points payouts, and roblox didn't really like that.

It used to be that games would have limited points to distribute and could only acquire more via the purchasing of gamepasses. They removed the whole "limited supply" thing *very* quickly after its introduction.

They were probably gonna be used for some leaderboard type of stuff, but Roblox didn't realize people could just make games that give a massive amount of points with no effort required, so once people started doing that it pretty much killed whatever plans they had

There was also an scrapped exchange system but nothing else is known about that other than the file name for it

They used to be connected to a global leaderboard you can visit on the website to see who has the most points but they took it down because most of the first place positions were reserved for throwaway accounts that used exploits to get there.

You could cash these in for Robux. Me and my friend stockpiled and stockpiled until we had tons and tons to make a lot of Robux. But the day we were going to cash in, they removed the system and they all went to waste.

They were for some rewards I think the Adurite stuff including the antlers, it was during a summer and I remember that death run game having a lot to do with it. Like collect a certain amount to get different levels of rewards.

For you guys, they resembled Tix or Robux, but they didn't do the same things that Tix or Robux would do. In fact they didn't do anything at all they were just an award for you achievements for a while you could still get them in old roblox game and may still be able too unless roblox got rid of that.
