Bewaretheicespiders

Sengun put on some serious muscle mass during last season.

Suspicious_Bus3567

probably Embiid will be listed questionable just before Rockets game

2nd2last

Getting ready to play Embiid next year.

OutsideAd1823

Laughing my ass off! Either hit him good or don’t touch him at all 😅

adonWPV

The bag = the western conference next year

pick_named_slimpbamp

I an do that... for five or six seconds.

Sweaty-Anteater-6694

Weak technique

knasian

Best not to brawl with punches like that.

AdmirablePlatypus759

That’s much more about keeping the arms up for extended periods than punching.

shameless_chicken

Legs look kinda skinny. I’m sure he wasn’t able to even walk for a while but he used to have tree trunks

StrangerOfHere

calf muscles recover from ankle injuries rather quickly. source: me, i had two grade 2 left ankle sprains on seperate occasions

ElevenInfinity

a little bit more! it's almost dead.

WuziMuzik

Dude, don't shortchange the workout. If he takes a step back to throw full length punches, and circles the bag as he punches. It would increase the effectiveness of his workout by a lot. Especially because hand speed and stamina are two of his bigger weaknesses. And it helps footwork too.

ST012Mi

I don’t think hand speed is a weakness of Sengun’s. He’s got some quick and anticipatory hands.

WuziMuzik

He isn't really quick at anything, he still needs to improve his fast twitch muscle conditioning more. He has some already but that has always been one of the things linked to his defensive limitations. His anticipation, reading, and game sense make up for his lack of athleticism, and conditioning. But him continuing to work on it will be the thing that will raise his ceiling the most over his career.

ST012Mi

His lateral movement is slow but he’s sneaky explosive and also had quick hands. Certain games, he is poking away and deflecting so many balls. I mean Wemby isn’t the fastest but he kept taking his cookies during the most recent matchup. He does go to P3 in Santa Barbara during the off-season to fully dedicate to the attributes you’re referring to. Reference material: 1. Sengun has grown at least an inch since last season and now officially stands 6-foot-11. **He also spent five weeks learning how to optimize his body at P3, a sports science company in Santa Barbara, California**. The experience was new, but Sengun made the most of his workouts, reinforcing his legs (to better hold up defensively in the paint) and becoming more explosive (for finishing at the rim). 4. Şengün has excelled at defending without fouling** and gobbling everything off the boards. >The work began in Santa Barbara, where scores of NBA players have trained with the sports scientists at P3 Peak Performance Project. Like Jokić, and Luka Dončić, and Harden before them, Şengün registered impressive numbers for his **hyper-fluid movements that traditional performance data doesn’t value**. He is flexible beyond belief, light on his feet, able to stretch the long legs of his 6-foot-11 frame into a complete split. >He sported a **movement quality, those nimble legs and melty hips, that clustered Şengün much more tightly with the guards P3 has tested than the bigs**. There were plenty of similarities with Jokić’s biometric profile, a former youth point guard himself, and it’s even less surprising both have incorporated a one-footed fadeaway that’s proven virtually unguardable. He won’t ever be guard quick but he can stay mobile and flexible and add to his fast twitch muscle fibers over time. https://preview.redd.it/tabuarwb7ayc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1577c37db7ebf5ae7be4477186014817b633bf1a
