I dont think Burger Finger should've won that episode but I enjoy her for the drama she brings. Not everything she says is funny to me, but she has been entertaining

Kadetm93

I do like her overall. I enjoy her dry dead pan delivery and she has a lot of nerve which IS one of the tenants of drag race. Burger finger was whatever tho. But overall I think she gives good REALITY tv. Which ppl tend to forget it’s a reality tv show first, competition second. And reality tv has always been about dumb messy stupid gutter drama. So at least she’s trying to spice it up. Let’s just say the season would be boring without her

shamiraendor

in five years I bet it will be impossible to imagine this season without Plane Jane, just like it's impossible to conceive S11 without Silky

jkimisyellow

She’s giving me a lot of Willam with her calculated irreverence, which makes this season more enjoyable.

Vusta

I giggled when she shaded Q.

ktbee4

I think she’s young and playing up the TV and willing to say anything for screen time. She’s not my favourite but I appreciate the hustle reminds me of MIB

dreamed2life

💎 yep But after these two (mib and plane) ppl will need to switch it up. Its too obvious

BasicBeigeDahlia

I didn't love, love Burger Finger, but I do find her absolutely hilarious. What is telling is how long that ending of Burger Finger was, she was completely and utterly invested in the bit. And I think that is a marker that she is going to be completely committed to the whole bit with her villain fantasy - ss long as the whole season. She doesn't need to read the room, pushing the buttons, but having a smile about it is the whole deal.

nesichat_pop

burger finger made me cringe so hard. i'm sorry plane jane fans but i don't get the hype in the slightest

MildlyResponsible

Well apparently the other queens who watched it enjoyed it because they rated her top two. I also think it was dumb, but it's not like some made up production story. Also, let's be honest, Geneva also wasn't that good. The only performance that stood out was Nymphia. It was apretty weak talent show.

TrafLawMd

Something I'm noticing is that when people talk about Plane Jane in a positive light, it's always because she's bringing good TV. And I agree that she is. But it's never that her drag is amazing, her humor is on point, etc. I think that says it all Also I don't think Burger Finger should've won that episode, I wanted Nymphia to win

Weasel_the3rd

It’s also because they want to fuck her, if she wasn’t a skinny white gay people would be cancelling her left and right.

TrafLawMd

Real

travel__explorer

I honestly think she’s a lot smarter than she’s letting on. I think the “act” is more well thought out than she is letting on and I am keen to see the character development!!

this_is_an_alaia

See I'm the opposite. I don't think she's as clever as she thinks she is

She_Devil_By_Day

I think she started clever very briefly… and then way over throttled. She vaguely tried to kind of backpedal, while never actually committing, and from there it’s all just felt rehearsed and no longer clever. Either that or she goes for the obviously wrong route in the moment, and it feels like she thinks it’ll get her screen time. I have a feeling especially after this elimination that she may go quiet and take the back seat for a few episodes. She clearly has to be aware at this point that the energy towards her isn’t great. If she were to keep going right after this week, they’re definitely going to turn on her… and I would hope she’s clever enough to figure it out for her sake.

queertheories

I lived when Amanda was like “you don’t know me and I wasn’t even in the conversation so why bring me up” and Plane absolutely shut down and was like “uh who am I having a conversation with” and then turned back to Q. Like even SHE knew she was in too deep.

Hatesponge66

I don't find her funny. Something about her presence and performances feels contrived.

NuWaveSpecial

I find her personality and talent show cringey and boring. She has polished looks and confidence but is in the bottom half of contestants from my POV, though I expect her to be a finalist. As for other contestants’ reactions, I can’t tell what’s genuine on this show due to the nature of semi-scripted, heavily produced and edited TV.

Fenriswolf_9

I don't have a problem with her. I don't really enjoy or really dislike her. I just kind of think we've seen it before, and usually a bit better. She comes off to me like she has extensively studied the show and crafted a strategy for success, which I think takes a lot of effort and smarts. But I don't find it particularly engaging.

Swimming-Throat-4560

Burger finger was a 0/10 for me, but other than that she's made me smirk a couple of times. She's no Bob though, hah

wintercaptain25

I do not find her funny for the most part. She’s had a few genuinely comedic moments though. Burger finger wasn’t funny at all. I didn’t get it (if there’s anything to get). And I agree with all the people who felt like it was very bargain bin Jimbo.

Intelligent-Put-1990

Yeah I find her funny, but definitely think she struggles to read the room. I honestly think she thought she was going to have a cute dynamic with Amanda. She’s definitely in the top 4 queens this season.

scarletmiltzz

No. And her personality is outweighing her strengths for me at this point and I can’t even objectively appreciate when she brings “good looks” or “perform well”. Opposite of halo effect at a 500% for me.

Purple-Technician929

I fucking love her. It’s been a while since a drag queen made me like her so much. The thing everyone is missing is: she’s not the kind of person you take seriously. You can see in her face she doesn’t take herself seriously. The problem is terminally online people are so not used to know how people interact that they get very offended. This and the fact that she NEVER raises her voice. She keeps her deadpan tone all the way. Added all that to the fact that she’s a f good drag queen, she has a power to get in everyone’s panties, something that until now only Gia did

ParisHathBurned

This.

EstablishmentOk3337

Yeah, I find her funny and entertaining but it gets a bit dampened by the meanness. Shes compelling that’s for sure

this_is_an_alaia

I've thought two of her reads were funny. The queer art thing and the gaslight, Gatekeep thing. I haven't laughed at anything else she's done. And I thought taco head was a lot funnier than burger finger

Fortherealtalk

Her reads are super generic and generally suck the energy of the room/conversation IMO. To me she’s worse than just mean—she’s boring. I’m genuinely much more interested in the story development around the other queens and I wish less screen time went to her energy vampire ass.

Thelexhibition

I don't find her particularly funny but the way she's stirred the girls up has resulted in some great moments

Historical_Bit_3798

To me Burger Finger wasn’t funny. Plane’s reads/comments to the other queens is kinda funny/shady fun. But mostly she just irks me. I know some queens bring more drama than others, but I feel like Plane and her drama is starting to get lame.

Avy-Jorraelan

For me, based on what I’ve seen, she’s not funny when it comes to the unscripted parts of the show. PJ is obviously talented, and the RDR Live skit was funny. But she seems to be self-producing and it’s pretty cringey. She seems like a person with mean girls tendency who wants to be shady and funny about it but doesn’t have the capacity to. I think it’s one of those skills that is innate and can’t be taught (either you have it or your don’t), and someone lied to her several times and told her she had it. She also made Amanda her target, and now that we know what a difficult time Amanda was having doing the show after her divorce, and her gender journey, it does seem like PJ was kicking someone when they’re down. I think taking the time to know your seeeesturs before reading them the house down is important; Amanda said PJ doesn’t know her so it was coming across harsh than playful. That said, I myself personally FOR ME don’t really gravitate towards similar personalities on my TV. I’ve taken to recording S16 so that I can speed through PJ parts if I don’t feel like hearing or seeing her.

Sulley87

yes shes funny and entertaining, its not that serious

AnyCryptographer7254

Not really, I don't mind her tho. I understand we all have different sensibility when it comes to humour. My eyes are on other queens in this season anyway, so that might be a reason why as well.

gkwchan

I find it very funny when other people (including Amanda) took her way too seriously.

whatthesheet

I wish she took her act seriously instead of backpedaling. Go big or go home mawma

this_is_an_alaia

Maybe it's because not everyone finds just being kind of a jerk funny

humanrinds_

nah, i especially didn’t get what was so great about her rdr live performance

Starscream_Gaga

It probably means we’re terrible people but me, my partner and my brother all cackled when she randomly brought Amanda into her conversation with Q. Just setting the bait and Amanda immediately biting.

rrriot-kitty

This is when I decided I didn’t like her. I mean, it was so unnecessary and petty

holocene-tangerine

I don't like her even one bit, she's just not the kind of person I enjoy seeing, and I hate that so much screen time in every episode has been focused on her so far

trailer_trash_dreams

Yes, I find her fairly funny. I agree with others in that I think she struggles to read the room but overall I enjoy her. I thought Burger Finger was funny - it was so dumb but in the best way. It wasn’t the funniest thing I’ve ever seen but it was def funny.

NameUm96

I really hate what she did to Amanda. That was straight up bullying. Just horribly, deliberately, publicly humiliating punching down.

Purple-Technician929

Not this

ParisHathBurned

I find her talented, beautiful, and hilarious. This fandom wants every queen to be a tortured emo girl and Plane is like F that. I live.

[deleted]

i thought burger finger was so unserious and i loved it. not everything has to be profound to be entertaining.

[deleted]

Well I like her and think she’s funny… But the main reason she’s my favorite is because everybody has decided to team up on her. I love an underdog. She’s giving Aquaria

OT9FOREVER

I find her more ![gif](giphy|8WiaDQuGYKJmx6uTSt|downsized) than funny, but I did have some giggles for some things she says lol
