It should be: "ты дома или уже на работе".
"Дома" means "home" or "at home". "На работе" means "at work".

I'm just having difficulty understanding why the way I constructed the sentence is incorrect, as in my head it makes sense, although this may just be grammar that I have yet to wrap my head around yet.
