Rangers fan coming in peace really want our Upstate NY Brothers to make the playoffs.
You probably need another 2 or 3 goaltenders. Between Comrie, Levi, Anderson and UPL, that's only 4 goaltenders and there are 7 games left.
I’m more interested to see which defensive effort we bring. The one that pressures opponents in our own zone, prevents cross ice passes, and pounces on rebounds, or the one that stands there like pylons.
Getting timely saves helps a lot, but playing solid D so those timely saves happen much less often is also crucial.
It looks like Donny has them locking it up a bit more lately tbh.
I think having Stillman and Boosh on the ice instead of Fitzgerald/Bryson/Clague is a big change.
Id honestly like to see Joki in a bottom pairing role. Hopefully we'll get Johnson alongside Power.
I think it all depends on Tuesday. Personally I'd start Comrie against the Panthers, but I can see an argument for any one of our goalies to start that game.
If we win Tuesday, I'd go UPL against Det, Levi Car, Comrie NYR, UPL NJ, Anderson Ott, and then see where we are in the standings for CBJ - hopefully we need it and UPL, if it doesn't matter Levi.
As much as I hate this rotation (as a goalie, I would hate not being able to get into the groove but I digress), I think UPL should get Tuesday, he played well last game and has overall earned the big start, depending on how that goes I would follow up with Levi and play Saturday by ear. I would rather win/lose this huge game with someone whose been with the team all year, and that’s taking into consideration the hype for Levi is real.
Hard to say with Andy injured. I predicted he'd get Florida and Ottawa since he played for each and this seems to be his farewell tour. If he's able to go, for Ottawa I have to think he's in. So with that and the mystery for Florida gone I'll say:
Florida - Levi
Detroit - Comrie
Carolina -UPL
NYR - Levi
NJD - Comrie
Ottawa - Anderson
Columbus - Levi
So much of this depends on if we stay in the race, and if anyone plays particularly well (SO, 40+ saves, other situations where Granato's hand is somewhat forced)...But just based off average performance I'd think something like that.
