just drove up to a hill in Napa, no fog but no signs of aurora :(
Been looking at that site for the past couple hours but the whole thing is light grey and I can barely see the difference between the white and the grey….
yea i thought it was a lil difficult to understand too :(

Unlikely to see it tonight even putting aside the fog.

Saw it last night, just got back (12:30am) to East Bay from out by Davis & Lake Berryessa tonight, no aurora, but the moon on the lake was beautiful.
Lots of people on the sides of the road up by the lake.
there’s an aurora app with forecast called Aurora. it updates via the space weather service 🙏 it says 0% chance right now and all night it seems. tmrw there is another higher prediction bc of solar flares. space weather is relatively calm right now. there was more on the map earlier in Canada and now there’s barely any

I think you need to be about 150 miles north to see anything, up in the Sierra Nevada mountains. My hometown is up there near Chico and it's pretty cool from the pics I've seen.
I got fooled by that, too. 99% sure it was just the movie filming on 10th

Muir Beach is in Marin, my friend.

No fog in Larkspur right now.
It’s currently foggy all over SF.

Any updates from Ocean Beach?
last one was: fog persists
I checked OB live cam and it looks clear. I think the fog is gone.
lol. The fog has not gone. It is foggy AF out here and has been all night.
oh ok that’s good news! let us know if u go there!
The fog is still here. Can’t see anything. 12:30 am
No fog in Larkspur, marin. I bet the best spot to view will be in the hills by Tiburon and Corte Madera, maybe Ring Mountain.
Did anyone see it? I end up going yo the movie, but if it's up, I can still head out over.
someone said that it’s clear where they are but no sign of aurora :(
Fog
Too foggy
😆
Who’s stuck and need an Uber ride back message me we can do Venmo

dammit, that might be it. Were you using a really bright flash? I think I saw it and thought it was lightning or heat lightning for a sec haha
No flash. But the movie set was moving a strobe around
