Yup he is also an introvert. If he weren’t a businessman, he would not be living in a Metropolitan like NYC I think a place like Napa suited his temperament much more.
A head canon I have for the years between Sex and the City and AJLT are Steve, Harry, and Big got along pretty well and Big would help Steve with the grilling when they all got together for dinner in the summer, and they'd all find something in common aside from their wives' friendship. I don't think they went out of their way to spend time together but they definitely enjoyed each other's company.
I also feel like Big and Harry are the kind of people that would go out of their way to make Steve feel at home around them, given that they were wealthy educated men and Steve wasn’t quite on their social level
She got the job at Vogue before she went to Charlotte's apt and went off on her for not offering her the money...it was one of the things she mentioned-- something like "Vogue offered me $4 a word, most people get $2.00..."
Not to be a downer, but my main one is that Big left NYC because of 9/11 and the trauma of working in the financial district when it occurred.

I completely agree. He probably also lost a few friends or work buddies.
That's a headcanon I have and it always makes me want to cry thinking about it for him.
Wait...this never even crossed my mind but it makes alot of sense
I never looked at it that way, this is an interesting take.

I also think that as well
I so agree with this and thought that too😁
This is cute. I love that !
Mine is that Carrie uses her $4.50/word from Vogue to pay Charlotte back for her engagement ring.
I thought that was actually confirmed in the show. She took the job with Vogue to pay back Charlotte

Facts
For sure. He wouldn’t be bothered by that at all.
I think he would find it hysterical and insist they continue calling him that
Canon.
